State police have cancelled an adult Amber Alert, as the elderly missing person has been located. 92 year old Beverly Cleveland was in good health at a motel in Owego& & she has been turned over to family members. Cleveland was reported missing over the weekend from the Town of Caroline in Tompkins County, she reportedly became disoriented while driving to her home in Trumansburg.

Governor Cuomo today announced that $20 million dollars will be awarded statewide to replace residential drinking water lead service lines as part of New York's Clean Water Infrastructure Act of 2017. The Lead Service Line Replacement Program awards locally include the City of Binghamton, which will receive $663,000.

The campaign will include banners on social media, Advertisements on all forms of mass transit, and ads in shopping area and laundromats in communities throughout the state. Governor Cuomo will advance legislation to add 11 fentanyl analogs to the state controlled substances schedule, giving law enforcement the ability to go after the dealers who manufacture and sell. The Governor is also directing the State Department of Financial Services to take immediate action to Advise Insurers Against placing arbitrary limits on the number of naloxone doses covered by an insurance plan. The Governor announced that a synthetic Fentanyl that is mixed with heroin is being sold illegally, which has a high risk for user to overdose, fentanyl-related deaths increased at 160% statewide.
A raid at Motel 88 in Oneonta netted Police 70 bags of heroin and crack cocaine, 33 year old Jason Chase of Cortland, was arrested for 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a controlled substance following a no knock search warrant. Police discovered that Chase had 2 arrest warrants for Criminal Sale of a Controlled substance, and was also wanted by the New York State Division of Corrections and Community Supervision. Oneonta Police were assisted by City of Norwich Police Department, Chenango County Sheriff’s Department and the State Division of Corrections and Community Supervision.
Travis St. Denny of Norwich will be in jail for 10 years and plus post-release supervision for a guilty plea for 2 counts of criminal sexual act & 1 count of producing obscene materials to a minor. St. Denny was arrested earlier this year following a tip from a Child Abuse Hotline.

The State DEC has confirmed that a deer attacked a man in the city of Troy on Tuesday. Tony Remillard was taking out trash in his backyard when the 10-point Buck pinned him against a fence and hit him in the face with his antlers, before a neighbor came to his rescue. The dear ran off and died, it was tested positive for Rabies. Remillard is undergoing post-rabies exposure treatments.
State Assemblyman Cliff Crouch today encouraged families to take advantage of the "NY ABLE" program, which focuses on encouraging and assisting individuals and families to save private funds in accounts to help individuals with disabilities to maintain their health and quality of life. Delaware County Public Health announced that a cat from the town of Franklin tested positive for rabies. The stray cat attacked one person and a dog on September 20th, the individual delayed calling Public Health until September 24th, 2017; the cat was then sent for testing to Wadsworth lab on September 25. The person is receiving rabies Prophylaxis treatment. The dog was up to date on its rabies vaccinations and will receive a booster. Cal Harris has filed papers in federal court in Syracuse today, against Tioga County officials for malicious prosecution and civil rights violations. Harris was twice convicted for murdering his estranged wife Michelle in 2001 he won appeals each time, the 3rd murder trial was moved to Schoharie County, that jury was deadlocked, and in trial Number 4, Harris was freed from Jail. Harris' lawsuit targets former Tioga County District Attorney Gerald Keene, who prosecuting the murder case twice, and got convictions against Harris, plus Police detectives that worked the case, & people who testified against him, they are expected to respond to the suit in Federal court later this year.
Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 51 year old Matthew Dyer of Florida, for 20 counts of Reckless Endangerment, following an investigation by Sheriff’s Deputies and the management of Reithoffer Shows, that revealed that Dyer was operating a ride at the Delaware County Fairgrounds while intoxicated; endangering the passengers on the ride. Dyer was arraigned in the Village of Walton Court and was remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility on $20,000 cash bail pending further court action.

Delaware County Sheriff's Deputies arrested 30-year-old Patrick Ford of Delancey, on a Bench Warrant issued by the Town of Delhi Court as a result of Ford’s failure to appear to answer charges of Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree and Petit Larceny. Ford was arraigned in the Town of Delhi Court & was remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility on $250 cash bail.
State Police & Delaware County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 33-year-old Christopher Davis of Otego on a Warrant of Arrest issued by the Town of Franklin Court. Davis was charged with 3rd degree Robbery, Criminal Mischief & Petty Larceny, for allegedly forcefully stealing a cell phone from a victim during a domestic dispute in the Town of Franklin. Davis was arraigned in the Town of Franklin Court and was remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility on $1,000 cash bail pending further court action.

The National Weather Service announced a Tornado watch for most of the WCDO Listening area through 9:00 tonight. The National Weather service defines a Tornado Watch when Tornadoes are deemed possible by the Storm Prediction Center; where conditions are favorable for the possible creation of a Tornado. We'll have the full Tri-County Forecast right after this newscast.
Tri-Town Regional Hospital in Sidney will become a satellite emergency department under the leadership of Fox Hospital in Oneonta, on January 1st 2018. A certificate of need was approved earlier this year by the State Department of Health to bring Tri-town Regional under the operations of Fox Hospital, State rules stipulate that a satellite emergency department must be within 35 miles of an acute care hospital; Fox Hospital is 23 miles from Sidney while Bassett Medical Center is just over 45 miles away. The change will not affect any services at tri Town. Bassett Officials also announced a plan to apply for $25 million in grant funding to create a medical village at the Sidney campus, for outpatient and emergency care.
Delaware County Sheriff Deputies arrested 56-year-old Donald Whitted of Walton for failing to report an address change to the Sex Offender Registry & for failing to release an updated photo, after he moved from his registered residence in the Town of Bovina to a residence in the Town of Walton. Whitted was charged with Failure to report a Change Address in 10 days and Failure to Provide Photograph, he was arraigned in the Town of Delhi Court and was remanded to the Delaware County Jail on $2,500 cash or $5,000 secured bond.
The "POW-MIA Memorial Highway" will be extended into the Southern Tier under legislation signed into law this week that was sponsored by State Senator Jim Seward & Assemblyman Cliff Crouch. Previously, the "POW-MIA Memorial Highway" which memorializes veterans of the Vietnam War, ran along State Route 12 for the Northern portions of the Highway, the new legislation extends the memorial highway through Madison, Chenango, and Broome counties to the intersection of State Route 12 and State Route 12A in the Town of Chenango.
Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 39-year-old Travis Fletcher of Walton, on a bench warrant issued by the Village of Walton Court. Fletcher was arraigned at the Village of Walton Court; he was remanded to the custody of the Delaware County Correctional Facility on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond. Fletcher was scheduled to appear before the Village of Walton Court at a later date for further proceedings.
The State Labor Department announced that the Unemployment rate for July Statewide was 4.7%, up 2/10ths from June. Locally, Chenango County had 4.8% unemployment, Delaware County 5.4% & Otsego County 4.9% in July.

Delaware County Sheriff Deputies arrested 56-year-old Donald Whitted of Walton for failing to report an address change to the Sex Offender Registry & for failing to release an updated photo, after he moved from his registered residence in the Town of Bovina to a residence in the Town of Walton. Whitted was charged with Failure to report a Change Address in 10 days and Failure to Provide Photograph, he was arraigned in the Town of Delhi Court and was remanded to the Delaware County Jail on $2,500 cash or $5,000 secured bond.
The "POW-MIA Memorial Highway" will be extended into the Southern Tier under legislation signed into law this week that was sponsored by State Senator Jim Seward & Assemblyman Cliff Crouch. Previously, the "POW-MIA Memorial Highway" which memorializes veterans of the Vietnam War, ran along State Route 12 for the Northern portions of the Highway, the new legislation extends the memorial highway through Madison, Chenango, and Broome counties to the intersection of State Route 12 and State Route 12A in the Town of Chenango.
Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 39-year-old Travis Fletcher of Walton, on a bench warrant issued by the Village of Walton Court. Fletcher was arraigned at the Village of Walton Court; he was remanded to the custody of the Delaware County Correctional Facility on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond. Fletcher was scheduled to appear before the Village of Walton Court at a later date for further proceedings.
The State Labor Department announced that the Unemployment rate for July Statewide was 4.7%, up 2/10ths from June. Locally, Chenango County had 4.8% unemployment, Delaware County 5.4% & Otsego County 4.9% in July.

Cushman and his passenger, 67-year-old Nancy Cushman, were thrown from the motorcycle; Nancy Cushman was fatally injured and died at the scene. James Cushman sustained serious physical injuries and was transported to Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton and was then airlifted to UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City for treatment. Following a search by members of several Law Enforcement agencies, 23-year-old Justina Mastrorocco of Walton was back into custody less than 2 hours after escaping from the Delaware County Sheriff's Office. Mastrorocco was arrested Friday morning for a number of felonies, she slipped out of handcuffs and fled the Sheriff's Office, after being charged with Burglary, Grand Larceny, & Conspiracy for a burglary at a Town of Delhi residence on July 17. She was also facing several felony charges for allegedly cashing stolen & forged checks at several financial institutions. Mastrorocco was additionally charged with 2nd degree Escape, she was arraigned and was remanded to the Delaware County Jail on $50,000 cash bail pending further court action.
The State DEC announced Saturday that the alligator spotted near Whitney Point over the last week has been captured. The Alligator was located behind the fairgrounds in Whitney Point and was being transferred and permanently placed at Animal Adventure Park.
Governor Cuomo announced new free sport fishing days on Veterans Day, the weekend preceding Presidents Day, and National Hunting and Fishing Day, the fourth Saturday in September. During these designated free fishing days, New York residents and non-residents are permitted to fish for free without a fishing license. The 2017 State Legislative session appears to be over, barring a return to deal with left over legislation, or for an emergency situation, State Senator Jim Seward said that there were a few items that were not dealt with this year:

A Delaware County Grand Jury handed down a Sealed Indictment following a joint investigation by the Delaware County Sheriff's Office & the Village of Sidney Police, regarding narcotics sales in the Sidney area. 36 year old Angel Mirabal of Sidney was charged with 3 counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance, for allegedly selling cocaine in the Village of Sidney, and 1 count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, with intent to sell, after discovering that Mirabal possessed a quantity of cocaine at the time of his arrest on the Sealed Indictment Warrant. Mirabal was arraigned Thursday & Friday on all charges and was sent to the Delaware County Correctional Facility to be held without bail.
State Police responded to an industrial accident at Upstate Shredding in Owego Friday. 49-year-old Michael Burke of Owego was walking across the scrap yard when he was struck by a front loader being operated by another employee. Burke was declared dead at the scene, State Police, Owego Police Department and OSHA are continuing the investigation.
Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 29 year old Alexis Seward of Otego, Saturday for 1 count each of Felony DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, & resisting arrest, following a 1 car accident in Franklin. Seward’s vehicle went off the roadway and into a ditch, the investigation revealed that Seward’s driver’s license was revoked, due to a previous alcohol related charge, Seward then resisted the Deputy’s attempt to arrest her. Seward was remanded to the Delaware County Jail on $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond, pending future Court action.
Chenango county Sheriff’s department arrested 2 Sherburne residents for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance Saturday. Deputies responded to the Sherburne Motel after receiving a complaint of drug activity in area, they observed a subject smoking methamphetamine upon arrival. Sara Hart and Russell Osborne were both arrested after they were found to be in possession of methamphetamine, they were released on appearance tickets pending future court action.

Bousson was charged following a complaint that he shot & killed a dog, he was taken into custody without incident, and he was processed and will appear in the Town of Otselic Court at a later date.
The Delaware County Department of Economic Development announced a 2nd round of funding under the Agricultural Microenterprise Program. During the first funding round, the Department received 17 applications from new and existing Ag related businesses. Grants of up to $30,000 will be available to assist new agricultural and agri-tourism micro-enterprise businesses, more information is available at 832-5123.
The Delaware County Department of public works announced that County Route 44 in the Town of Sidney would be closed to through traffic starting tomorrow morning, through Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM, for a culvert replacement project near Patent Line Road. The detour will be Covered Bridge Road to state Route 357 & back to County Route 44

Moore was arraigned in the Town of North Norwich Court and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on $10,000 cash bail. She is scheduled to reappear in court at a later date.

An individual entered the store, stole merchandise, and displayed a large knife. The Sheriff’s Office located the suspect in a wooded area near the Norwich Motor Lodge, he was taken into custody, a large knife and stolen merchandise was recovered. 21-year-old Collin Berry was charged with 1st degree Robbery & Criminal Possession of a Weapon, he was arraigned in the Town of North Norwich Court and remanded to the Chenango County Jail on $10,000 cash bail. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of North Norwich Court at a later date.

Broome County Fire Investigators have determined that it was a space heater that was too close to combustibles in the Skylark Motel Lobby in Vestal on March 14th, which caused the fire that, claimed the life of the owner of the Motel, 79-year-old Dick Patel. Patel & his wife lived above the motel office with his wife, investigators reported that Patel helped his wife get out but he could not make it out of the building, remaining occupants also escaped. The motel was a total loss.
State Police were dispatched to a report of 2 dead goats on property located at 674 County Highway 36, in the Town of Westford Monday. 45-year-old Stephen Pandelakis was charged after police discovered numerous dead animals on the property, including a dog, a cat, a pig, 2 goats, 6 chickens and 2 ducks. Pandelakis was charged with 2 felony counts of Aggravated Cruelty to Animals, and 13 counts of Torturing, Injuring or Failure to feed an animal. Remaining chickens were surrendered & were taken to another person for proper care. Pandelakis was issued appearance tickets returnable in the Town of Westford Court April 4th.
Delaware County Sheriff's Deputies and Hancock Village Police arrested 33-year-old Christen Wrighter of Hancock Monday on a number charges, after a traffic stop. Deputies and Hancock Police started an investigation recently following a number of complaints of people who made advance payments to Christen Wrighter Photography for photographs that she failed to provide. Deputies observed Wrighter speeding on State Highway 97 in Hancock Monday evening, they discovered that she had her driving privileges suspended, she also unlawfully possessed a quantity of the prescription controlled substances, including Oxycodone. Wrighter was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, speeding, Scheming to Defraud, Grand Larceny & petty Larceny. Wrighter was arraigned in the Village of Hancock Court and was remanded to the Delaware County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bail bond pending further court action. The investigation is ongoing.

Chenango County Sheriff Ernest Cutting reported the arrest of 2 parents in connection with the death of 16-year-old Jeffrey Franklin on March 1st in the Town of Guilford. The Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Ernest Franklin & 33 year old Heather Franklin following the investigation of a fire at their residence on state Route 8. The autopsy showed that the fire did not cause Jeffrey’s death, and that he was deceased prior to the fire, investigators believe the fire was set to cover up the murder of Jeffrey. Both parents are charged with 2nd degree Murder, Arson and Tampering with Physical Evidence. The investigation is continuing and further charges may be filed.
State Police arrested 56-year-old Danny Baldwin of Cherry Valley, for Conspiracy. Troopers accuse Baldwin of conspiring by allegedly attempting to hire another person to intentionally commit murder. Baldwin was arraigned in town of Richfield Springs Court and was remanded to the Otsego County Jail on $250,000 cash bail or $500,000 property bond.
Oneonta Police arrested 20-year-old Kyle Alger of Oneonta on Drug Charges Friday Night. Alger was interviewed by police at his Rose Avenue home after a neighbor called to complain that someone was vomiting outside of Alger’s car. Alger is accused of throwing an item underneath the vehicle as police arrived, police then recovered 2 grams of bulk heroin & 11 individually packaged paper folds, and $532 cash. Alger was charged with Criminal possession of a controlled substance.

State Police were dispatched to a report of 2 dead goats on property located at 674 County Highway 36, in the Town of Westford Monday. 45-year-old Stephen Pandelakis was charged after police discovered numerous dead animals on the property, including a dog, a cat, a pig, 2 goats, 6 chickens and 2 ducks. Pandelakis was charged with 2 felony counts of Aggravated Cruelty to Animals, and 13 counts of Torturing, Injuring or Failure to feed an animal. Remaining chickens were surrendered & were taken to another person for proper care. Pandelakis was issued appearance tickets returnable in the Town of Westford Court April 4th.
Delaware County Sheriff's Deputies and Hancock Village Police arrested 33-year-old Christen Wrighter of Hancock Monday on a number charges, after a traffic stop. Deputies and Hancock Police started an investigation recently following a number of complaints of people who made advance payments to Christen Wrighter Photography for photographs that she failed to provide. Deputies observed Wrighter speeding on State Highway 97 in Hancock Monday evening, they discovered that she had her driving privileges suspended, she also unlawfully possessed a quantity of the prescription controlled substances, including Oxycodone. Wrighter was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, speeding, Scheming to Defraud, Grand Larceny & petty Larceny. Wrighter was arraigned in the Village of Hancock Court and was remanded to the Delaware County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bail bond pending further court action. The investigation is ongoing.

The State Department of Taxation and Finance, along with the Department of State's Division of Consumer Protection, renewed its warning for all New York tax prepares and human resources professionals of evolving scams aimed at stealing confidential client and employee information after identifying at least 65 companies in New York City, the Capital Region, Central New York, and Western New York that have now been impacted, affecting 7,100 taxpayers. Cyber criminals posing as company executives send emails to payroll and HR professionals requesting lists of employees and their personal information. This year, the scammers are expanding their reach. The Tax Department has identified multiple industries being affected, from health care and legal services to product manufacturing. The Tax Department is in contact with the affected businesses and is working with them to protect their employees.
The 7th Annual Delhi St. Patrick’s Day Parade will kick off at 12:00 pm on Saturday. Lineup begins at 11 a.m. at SUNY Delhi for most participants and at the Delhi Town Hall for pipe bands and antique vehicles. The city of Oneonta snow emergency prohibiting on street parking will be continuing until further notice, as removal of the snow is ongoing. Cars may park again on streets where the snow has been removed, a list of those streets is updated daily at oneonta.ny.us/snowremoval.
New York State, like many others, is funding it hard to sell closed down prison sites. A recent study showed that 94 prisons have been closed nationwide since 2011, but only a few have been sold. Developers reported that cell blocks and dormitories tens to be too expensive to tear down & too restrictive to repurpose. An Adirondack prison overlooking the Saratoga Springs area has been on the market for the 2nd time in 2 years, in spite of its proximity to a major tourist destination.
Governor Cuomo announced the State Police, State Liquor Authority, State DMV and local law enforcement launched an enforcement campaign to crack down on impaired drivers during the week of St. Patrick’s Day. The campaign includes a number of sobriety checkpoints, additional DWI patrols, and a detail to crackdown on underage drinking and sales to minors. State Police will also be ticketing distracted drivers using handheld electronic devices. During the 2016 St. Patrick’s Day weekend enforcement effort, Troopers made 257 arrests for DWI and issued more than 17,000 tickets.
79-year-old Dick Patel of Vestal was identified as the person who was killed in the Skylark Motel Fire Tuesday. Patel & his wife lived at the Motel, his wife & 7 other people escaped the blaze, the Motel is a total loss, No injuries among firefighters were reported.

Attorney General Eric Schneiderman today announced the indictment of 12 members of a criminal theft and fencing ring in New York and 27 other states. A 41-count indictment, unsealed in New York Supreme Court today, charged the 12 alleged co-conspirators with enterprise corruption, money laundering, criminal possession of stolen property and conspiracy. During "Operation Sticky Fingers," State Police & other law enforcement agencies seized more than 5,300 stolen electronics and ink cartridges from the enterprise's alleged kingpin, Richard Rimbaugh; and from various members of his crew. millions of dollars in merchandise was stolen from Staples, Office Depot, Best Buy, and other retailers, investigators also seized more than $7.7 million dollars from the defendants' homes, financial institutions, and their Amazon and Pay Pal accounts.

Pretax profits for the broker/dealer operations of New York Stock Exchange member firms, totaled $17.3 billion in 2016, the highest level in four years. The industry added 2,800 jobs in 2014 and 4,500 jobs in 2015.

17 year old Kyle Jaramillo of Oneonta was arrested by City police after they allegedly found drugs and stolen goods in his apartment. Jaramillo was charged with 2nd degree burglary. Grand larceny, criminal mischief, criminal possession of a controlled substance & endangering the welfare of a Minor, Police seized heroin, televisions, stereo speakers, an air rifle and sneakers that were reported stolen recently for an Oneonta residence. Female lawmakers in New York say early voting would make it easier for all New Yorkers - and particularly women - to cast a ballot. Several legislators on Monday urged Governor Cuomo and legislative leaders to include early voting and automatic voter registration in the state budget expected to be approved by April 1. Compared to other states New York has low voter turnout rates and is one of a minority of states that still doesn't allow early voting.
A new bill is proposing a requirement for gender-neutral bathrooms in New York State. The Legislation was introduced in the Assembly to make all single-occupancy restrooms in public places gender neutral. Traditional signs for men's and women's rooms would be replaced to indicate accessibility to any gender.

Female lawmakers in New York say early voting would make it easier for all New Yorkers - and particularly women - to cast a ballot. Several legislators on Monday urged Governor Cuomo and legislative leaders to include early voting and automatic voter registration in the state budget expected to be approved by April 1. Compared to other states New York has low voter turnout rates and is one of a minority of states that still doesn't allow early voting.
A new bill is proposing a requirement for gender-neutral bathrooms in New York State. The Legislation was introduced in the Assembly to make all single-occupancy restrooms in public places gender neutral. Traditional signs for men's and women's rooms would be replaced to indicate accessibility to any gender.

The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop a vehicle operated by 24 year old Samuel Ackermann of Norwich, he led officers on an 8 mile pursuit from Oxford that ended when Ackermann crashed into a tree and fled the scene with 18 year old Johnathon Gemberling of Plymouth and a 17 year old female. Ackermann and the 17 year old female were apprehended trying to get help from a nearby residence; they were taken to Chenango Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries, A search warrant was executed on the vehicle & at an address in Pharsalia, Police seized heroin, a loaded long gun, cocaine and marijuana. Ackermann, was charged with 2 counts Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Possession of Marijuana, Reckless Endangerment, & several other charges, The 17 year old female was arrested on similar charges, both were arraigned and were remanded to the Chenango County Jail. The investigation in continuing and more arrests are expected.

Due to the lack of snow cover over much of the state and with rising temperatures forecasted for the coming weeks, conditions for wildfires could be heightened.

State Police arrested 33-year-old Carla Gagliano of Oneonta for Grand Larceny, and Offering a False Instrument for Filing, after an investigation by the State Department of Labor. The investigation determined that from March 2014 through March 2015, Gagliano had been receiving unemployment benefits while working at the Astrocom Electronics in Oneonta; the benefits were valued at about $10,500. Gagliano was arraigned in the City of Oneonta Court and was released. Her next court date is on April 19th.

THE FUNDING WILL ALSO HELP TO INSTALL WATER WELL AND REPLACE PIPING THAT SERVES A LOCAL HOSPITAL AMONG OTHER RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES.
A bipartisan group of state lawmakers is urging Governor Cuomo to reconsider his plan to cut back visitation at the state's Maximum-security prisons. The State Assembly Corrections Committee said that the Cuomo plan would punish innocent families who want to visit incarcerated loved ones, which could lead to more prison violence. Cuomo's plan calls for cutting visitation from 7 to 3 days a week, which would save the state 2.6 million dollars a year.
Voters in a few school districts will be asked to approve budgets that exceed the state's tax cap. The State Association of School Business Officials reported that 98% of the budgets submitted to the state so far would stay within the cap, 15 district want to over-ride it, which means that they will need a 60% super majority of for their budgets to pass. School budget votes will be held on May 16th this year.

Morris was charged following the investigation of a March 2nd crash in the town of Greene. State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli announced that his office has over $14.5 Billion Dollars in unclaimed funds & he urged New Yorkers to check if they have funds due to them. Last year, DiNapoli’s office returned a record $452 Million Dollars to the rightful owners.
