Accessibility Statement
WCDO Broadcasting is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including visitors who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard alone, or rely on assistive technology of any kind. We built this site with that in mind - clear headings, real link and button labels, sufficient color contrast, and a design that respects a visitor's own motion and display preferences where a browser or device makes those known to us.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA wherever practical. This is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time checklist - as the site grows, we review new pages and features against the same standard.
Found a problem?
If you run into something on this site that doesn't work well with the assistive technology you use, we want to know - not to check a box, but because it means someone in our community can't get to the news, the calendar, or the stream the way they should be able to. Tell us what page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what happened, and we'll take a real look.
Call (607) 563-3588 or email wcdo@wcdofm.com.
Known limitations
Our on-air audio content (newscasts, game broadcasts) is not currently transcribed or captioned online - the written newscast text on the News page carries the same information as that day's audio, but it is not a verbatim transcript. We don't currently have a timeline for full audio transcription, but it's on our radar as the site continues to grow.
