State Police responded to a 2 vehicle fatal collision on I-88 Wednesday night in the Town of Colesville. 23 year old David Murrer of Harpursville struck another motor vehicle, driven by 64 year old Synthia Baciuska & occupied by her husband 67 year old Lynn Baciuska both of Afton. The Baciuska vehicle left the roadway and overturned, Mr. Baciuska was ejected & was declared dead at the scene, Mrs. Baciuska was transported to Wilson Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Murrer suffered minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene, he was charged with Vehicular Manslaughter and DWI & was arraigned in Town of Colesville Court & he was remanded to the Broome County Correctional Facility on $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond. Anyone who may have information regarding this accident or witnessed this incident is requested to contact State Police at 775-1241. The investigation is continuing.
State Police in Binghamton are looking for information that may lead to the whereabouts of a Binghamton man who fled from troopers in a reported stolen vehicle. On Tuesday, December 27th, state troopers pulled over 28 year old Ryan Markoff of Binghamton, in the town of Kirkwood, after he was observed driving a vehicle that was reported stolen. Markoff drove off as troopers were interviewing him and headed north into the city of Binghamton. State Police pursued Markoff through the city, and terminated the pursuit shortly after he entered Pennsylvania. Markoff was last seen driving a blue 2011 Kia Sorento, New York registration FPX 4416. He may have possibly traveled to Montrose, Pennsylvania and is known to frequent the Windsor and Hancock areas. Anyone with information is asked to contact the New York State Police in Binghamton at (607) 775-1241.
Governor Cuomo announced that new health insurance reforms aimed at combatting New York State's heroin and opioid crisis will go into effect January 1st. These reforms were part of the legislative package that the Governor signed this year, health insurance plans will be required to cover treatment services provided to New Yorkers suffering from opioid addiction, increase access to treatment, expand community prevention strategies, and limit the over-prescription of opioids in New York.
Broome County District Attorney Steve Cornwell announced on Thursday that there have been 76 confirmed overdose deaths in Broome County this year. Of the 76 deaths, The average age was 37, 63% were male; 37% were female, 90% of the deaths were attributed to heroin or opioids; 10% to other drugs.
Governor Cuomo today announced the launch of a new public awareness campaign reminding New Yorkers that the first increase to the minimum wage will go into effect on December 31st. Governor Cuomo signed legislation this year making New York the first state in the nation to enact a $15 minimum wage to be phased in over several years. Minimum wage workers who do not receive their raise should call 1-888-4-NYSDOL to report their employers. Locally, the minumum wage will be increased to $9.70 an hour. 32-year-old Jacob Fowlston of Norwich was arrested by Norwich Police Wednesday afternoon and charged with a hate crime, following an alleged assault on December 24th on Fair Street in Norwich. Fowlston is accused of making racial slurs at the victim before striking him. Fowlston was arraigned & faces a felony hearing on Tuesday in Norwich City Court.
State Health Commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker today declared influenza prevalent in New York State. With this declaration, health care workers who are not vaccinated against influenza must now wear surgical or procedure masks in areas where patients are typically present. Flu activity in the State is now considered to be widespread, with laboratory-confirmed cases in 39 counties and all boroughs of New York City. So far, 658 flu-related hospitalizations have been reported, and there have been no reports of pediatric deaths from flu.
State Lawmakers will once again have to deal with an education budget next year that could make things difficult on the smallest upstate district, according to Assemblyman Pete Lopez:

State police responded to an Otsego County 911 report of a car-pedestrian accident on Main Street in Unadilla. 15 year old Edward McKinnely of Unadilla was walking with another person on the westbound shoulder of Main Street when he was struck by an SUV driven by 47 year old Michelle Swift of Unadilla Police said that the accident occurred on a dark roadway near the shoulder at about 5:30 PM Monday, Swift was not intoxicated or impaired by drugs. McKinnely was transported by LifeNet to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse with severe head and body injuries; he succumbed to the injuries earlier today.

Rojas managed the Single A Saint Lucie Mets for the previous 2 seasons, he replaces Pedro Lopez, who served for 5 years as Binghamton manager, and he has been promoted & will manage the AAA Las Vegas 51's in 2017.

Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 2 New York City men on felony marihuana possession charges following a traffic stop on State Highway 17 in the Town of Hancock. Deputies stopped a speeding vehicle operated by 20-year-old Messiah Ortiz of New York City, a search of the vehicle and its occupants led to the seizure of 1 pound of marihuana and over $2500 cash. Deputies charged Ortiz and 26-year-old Michael Lewis of New York City, with Criminal Possession of Marihuana, they were arraigned in the Town of Delhi Court where they were remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility on $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 secured bond pending future court action.
State Police arrested 30-year-old Maxx Waters of Afton for 3rd degree Assault & harassment. Troopers responded to a dispute at a home on Hilltop Drive in the Town of Afton, where Waters allegedly engaged in a physical dispute with 2 other victims, with one of the victims receiving a laceration to the head. Waters was arraigned in the Town of Afton Court where he was remanded to the Chenango County Court on $1,500 cash bail or $3,000 property bond. His next court date is on December 8, 2016.
A charity Auction will be held November 19th in Oneonta to benefit the Leatherstocking Council of the Boys Scouts of America. District Executive Peter Miller told WCDO News of some of the auction items up for bidding:

State Police arrested 32-year-old Amber Joy of Morris for 4th grand larceny; Joy is accused of stealing religious items from the Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, on Main Street in the Village of Morris, valued at $240. Joy was arraigned in the Town of Morris Court where she was remanded to the Otsego County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 property bond. Her next court date is pending.
A City of Norwich resident was arrested by the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office on a Fugitive of Justice complaint from New Jersey. 30-year-old Scott Russell was taken into custody and was brought to the Town of Norwich Court. Russell was remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility with no bail. He is to reappear in the Chenango County Court at a later date.
Chenango county sheriffs deputies arrested 56-year-old Peter Constantinou of New Berlin for 3rd degree Assault & Endangering the Welfare of a Child, following an investigation by Chenango County Child Protective Services and the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office. Tomorrow is Election Day, and beyond the Presidential race, there are races of local importance in the Tri County Area. The U.S. SENATE SEAT for New York features incumbent Democrat Charles Schumer against vs. Republican Wendy Long.
In the House of Representatives 19th Congressional District Race to replace Chris Gibson, Republican John Faso is against Democrat Zephyr Teachout.
In the 22nd congressional district Race To Replace Richard Hanna, a three way battle exists between Republican Claudia Tenney, Democrat Kim Meyers & 3rd party Candidate Martin Babinec.
In area State senate races, in the 51st State Senate District, Republican incumbent Jim Seward faces Democrat Jermaine Bagnall-Graham, in the 52 District; Republican Fred Akshar faces Democrat Sharon Ball.
In Local Assembly Races: in the121 Assembly district: Republican John Salka will again try to unseat incumbent Democrat Bill Magee.

On the eve of another Election, retiring congressman Richard Hanna reiterated to reporters that he is not going to run for governor of the state, after he recently declined to seek another term in Congress. Hanna and another outgoing congressman Chris Gibson have both been the topic of speculation that they would run for the Republican nomination for Governor, Gibson went as far as forming an exploratory committee & then decided to go into teaching instead, and Hanna has business concerns in the Mohawk Valley.
Governor Cuomo signed legislation that secures New York's place on the list of states that have joined National Popular Vote compact. The bill modifies legislation signed by Governor Cuomo in 2014 that added New York to an interstate agreement in which member states commit to award their electoral votes for president to the candidate that receives a majority of the national popular vote. The original legislation required that New York be removed from the compact at the end of 2018 if the agreement had not been adopted nationally, the new measure removed the expiration date and keeps New York on the list of states supporting the National Popular Vote indefinitely.
Shortly after midnight Friday, Delaware County Deputies investigated a 1 car fatal motor vehicle accident on County Highway 33 in Bloomville. A 17 year old female lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway, the vehicle continued over the embankment, rolled over and struck a tree. The driver of the vehicle died at the scene as a result of injuries suffered in the crash. There is no indication at this time that alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash, a blood sample was secured from the driver for toxicology analysis. The accident remains under investigation.

Police recovered 23 individual packets of cocaine, $246 cash, a small quantity of marihuana, Wilson was held pending arraignment in the City of Oneonta court.
On Friday, The Broome County Sheriff’s department responded to a Motel in the town of Dickinson following a call for a medical emergency of a patient who stopped breathing an adjacent room. Deputies found 30 year old Brett Seymour unresponsive, administered Narcan, eventually EMS responded & declared that Seymour was deceased. In the room, Police found crack, cocaine, heroin; they arrested Rayshawn Thompson of Binghamton, Nicole Mills of Windsor, & Tessa Rivera of Elmira on a variety of charges. The Broome County Sheriff’s department has set up a tip line at 778-1196.
19 year old Wade Armstrong of Delancy was arrested after a hit-and-run accident at the Taylor’s Gas Station in an alleged attempt at robbing the store. Armstrong allegedly stole the vehicle from the Delancey area, drove to Oneonta & drove the vehicle into the building breaking the windows and damaging the structure & the vehicle. Armstrong was charged with two counts of Criminal mischief, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen property and attempted burglary as well as numerous lesser charges, he faces court action shortly.

On the eve of another Election, retiring congressman Richard Hanna reiterated to reporters that he is not going to run for governor of the state, after he recently declined to seek another term in Congress. Governor Cuomo signed legislation that secures New York's place on the list of states that have joined National Popular Vote compact. The bill modifies legislation signed by Governor Cuomo in 2014 that added New York to an interstate agreement in which member states commit to award their electoral votes for president to the candidate that receives a majority of the national popular vote. The original legislation required that New York be removed from the compact at the end of 2018 if the agreement had not been adopted nationally, the new measure removed the expiration date and keeps New York on the list of states supporting the National Popular Vote indefinitely.
Shortly after midnight Friday, Delaware County Deputies investigated a 1 car fatal motor vehicle accident on County Highway 33 in Bloomville. A 17 year old female lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway, the vehicle continued over the embankment, rolled over and struck a tree. The driver of the vehicle died at the scene as a result of injuries suffered in the crash. There is no indication at this time that alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash, a blood sample was secured from the driver for toxicology analysis. The accident remains under investigation.

Binghamton City Officials announced that a 10-car pile up on State Route 17 Eastbound yesterday led to 10 people being injured, all were taken to area hospitals; none of the injuries are considered life threatening. City Officials reported that the accident occurred at about 4:20 Thursday afternoon, Binghamton Police department reports suggested that a tractor-trailer speeding through the Eastbound section near the Front Street exit had defective brakes. No tickets have been issued, The investigation is continuing.
Delaware County Sheriffs department arrested 37-year-old Yurian Perez and 31-year-old Yuniel Brito, both from New Jersey, for Criminal Possession of Marijuana, Unlawful Cultivation of Marijuana, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon. The charges are the result of a month long investigation into alleged marijuana growing operation at 9179 County Highway 21 in the Town of Franklin. The execution of a Search Warrant resulted in the seizure of lighting, ventilation and irrigation equipment, 328 plants, a crossbow, a metal knuckle knife& a vehicle. Both were arraigned & were remanded to the Delaware County Jail on $75,000 cash bail or $150,000 bond. The investigation continues, and more charges against additional suspects are likely.
Fire Investigators have determined the fire that destroyed the Cooperstown Motel on Tuesday, August 9th was arson. Investigations by the state Office of Fire Prevention & Control, county Office Of Emergency Services, state Department of Financial Services and the Cooperstown Police Department determined that the fire began on the second floor of the abandoned motel. No further details are available at this time. Anyone with information about the person(s) responsible for starting the fire is asked to call the Cooperstown Police Department, at 547- 2500. Disgraced & convicted former Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver will not be heading to Federal Jail august 31st, after a judge ruled that he can remain free on bail while he appeals his conviction of corruption charges. Federal Judge Valerie Caproni, granted Silver’s request for bail, even though she presided over Silver's original trial, and stated that she believes that Silver is guilty of using his political power to increase his net worth, even as the definition for his crimes has changed in a recent US Supreme court ruling.
State & Federal money is being designated to get broadband service to rural areas of upstate New York. Area Assemblyman Pete Lopez said that he likens this situation to when electricity was slow to make it into rural areas 120 years ago:

State Police are continuing to investigate a November 1980 homicide case in Broome County 30-year-old Barry Marquart of Binghamton was reported missing after they were contacted by Marquart's father, who stated that his son had been missing & he had received a call from Barry’s roommate. On November 9, 1980 Marquart’s car was found parked at the Exit 5 rest area on I-81 in the Town of Dickinson, Troopers found Marquart’s body in the Chenango River, his wallet was located in Otsiningo Park, south of the rest area. The autopsy ruled the death as a drowning and determined the victim received injuries from blows to his head and face. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call Investigator Matthew Hicks at the State Police Major Crimes Unit at 561-7400.

The Assembly Minority Conference Legislation sets up an independent advisory committee, streamlines economic development tax credits and other programs to make it fairer for all businesses to compete for state contracts and prohibit campaign contributions from appointees to their appointing authority.
The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Patrick Davenport of Oxford on an active Bench Warrant from the Norwich Police Department. Davenport was wanted for failure to appear on the charges of Unlawful Manufacturing of Methamphetamine and 3rd degree Burglary. Davenport was turned over to the custody of Norwich Police Department for processing.
Governor Cuomo today announced special education providers would receive a 4% increase in reimbursement rates. Schools benefiting from this increase serve approximately 13,500 students across the state with emotional or physical disabilities, mental health issues, trauma, substance abuse, or involvement with the juvenile justice, social service or child welfare system. Action was taken to continue the reforms approved 2 years ago to help stabilize and streamline the rate-setting process for school-age providers.
Fox Hospital’s executive leadership team and the board of directors announced that Dr. Reginald Knight has been selected as the new Vice President of Medical Affairs. Dr. Knight will begin his appointment at Fox on July 5th; He will be based at Fox three days of the week, splitting time between Bassett Medical Center and Fox. For the last 7 years, Dr. Knight has been an attending orthopedic surgeon for Bassett Medical Center. He also serves as director of Bassett’s spine care institute as well as president of the medical staff.

Chenango County area fire departments responded to a barn fire on Newton Road in Pharsalia just after 4:00 PM yesterday At Balsam View Dairy Farm. Fire fighters from Pharsalia, McDonough, and McGraw responded, no injuries were reported, but several cows were killed in the blaze. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The Town of Unadilla Highway Department announced that they will be paving Ben McCumber Road Today. The paving project will start at 6:30 AM and is expected to be completed at around 4:30 PM.

The morning session “Get Your Game On!” explores the power for play-based instruction through the implementation of cooperative learning games and identify the developmental benefits for individuals. The afternoon session titled Sensational Sensory Experiences-Enhancing Learning Opportunities through Sensory Play, to recognize the benefits of intentionally creating sensory experiences for individuals with sensory needs. Each session has includes “make and takes”, all supplies are provided.
Broome County Sheriff’s department reported that 1 person was killed when a disabled Jeep was struck by a tractor-trailer at 1:30 this morning on state Route 17 near Windsor. Deputies reported that a disabled Jeep stopped in the right lane of the highway was rear-ended by a tractor trailer, the Jeep & the tractor Trailer both went over an embankment. The Jeep's driver was pronounced dead at the scene, the identity of the driver has not been released pending family notification. The tractor trailer driver suffered head injuries and was taken to Wilson Memorial Hospital, the investigation is continuing.
Convicted Murderer 46 year old David Dart has been denied parole, Dart was convicted in Otsego County Court of fatally stabbing Gillian Gibbons of Milford in 1989 her body was found in her car in the lower level of the Oneonta Municipal Parking Garage. Dart will continue to serve a prison term of 25 years to life.
Oneonta Police arrested two residents on burglary & grand larceny charges. 44-year-old Courtney Griffin & 54 year old Joanne Roberts of Oneonta allegedly broke into a college student's apartment on Main Street & stole over $3,000 worth of property. The two were charged with the 2nd degree burglary & 3rd degree grand larceny plus criminal mischief, they face court action shortly.

Hinman is accused of unlawfully entering a home & taking property from the home on May 18th. Tobacco users will have a special smoking area at all games outside the gates of the stadium. The tobacco-free policy will go into effect on Opening Day in April 2017.

Chenango County area fire departments responded to a barn fire on Newton Road in Pharsalia just after 4:00 PM yesterday At Balsam View Dairy Farm. Fire fighters from Pharsalia, McDonough, and McGraw responded, no injuries were reported, but several cows were killed in the blaze. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The Town of Unadilla Highway Department announced that they will be paving Ben McCumber Road Today. The paving project will start at 6:30 AM and is expected to be completed at around 4:30 PM.

State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli today called for changes to the state’s fiscal practices, including limiting discretionary lump sum spending, restricting “backdoor spending” by public authorities and imposing a constitutional limit on state debt, among other reforms, to bring increased transparency and accountability to state finances. DiNapoli released his recommendations in a report, “Unfinished Business: Fiscal Reform in New York.” The report can be accessed at osc.state.ny.us/reports.
State Police at Sidney arrested 41-year-old Danielle Pettit of Bainbridge, for criminal mischief, after troopers responded to a Chenango County 911 report of criminal mischief on Kelly Road in the Town of Bainbridge. An investigation determined that Pettit had damaged the windows of a parked car and then left the scene. The windows had a value of more than $250. After being located, Pettit was arraigned in the adjoining Town of Afton court and was remanded to the Chenango County jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 property bond. Her next court date in the Town of Bainbridge Thursday.
New York reports honey production statewide increased 9% last year with more than 3.6 million pounds produced. New York remains the top producer in the Northeast and for the first time in a decade among the top 10 states nationally. New York Beekeepers earned almost $10.6 million last year, up $1.2 million.

Governor Cuomo today announced that The State has revised its Domestic Incident Report, which will allow law enforcement to collect more detailed information to enhance investigations, improve officer safety and connect domestic violence victims with support services. Police officers are required by law to complete the report whenever they respond to a domestic incident call, on average, officers statewide complete an estimated 400,000 Domestic Incident Reports every year.

Former state Senator Tom Libous of Binghamton died Tuesday, following a lengthy battle with cancer. Libous was 63. Funeral services will be announced shortly.
The State Senate passed legislation renaming a portion of State Route 357 in Delaware County in honor of United States Marine Corporal Nicholas Uzenski. The bill sponsored by Senator Jim Seward pays tribute to the Uzenski, who was killed in Afghanistan in 2010 when his unit was ambushed during a reconnaissance mission. The bill designates the portion of Route 357 from the intersection with State Route 28 in the town Franklin to the Franklin-Sidney town line, The Town of Franklin requested the special highway designation. Companion legislation sponsored by Assemblyman Cliff Crouch has been introduced in the state assembly.

State Trooper Donald Atkinson, of Troop C was named 2015 Trooper of the Year by the International Association of Chiefs of Police’s Division of State and Provincial Police. Trooper Atkinson jumped into fast moving water at the Whitney Point Dam last summer, he put his life at risk, & saved the life of a 14-year-old girl near the large intake tunnels. Trooper Atkinson has been a member of the State Police since 2001.
There will be a Democratic and a Republican Presidential Primary Election in New York State on Tuesday, April 19th. Polls will be open from Noon to 9 PM. The Delaware County board of elections reported that the Town of Tompkins Poll Site has changed to the Tompkins Town Hall at 148 Bridge Street in Trout Creek. April 12th is the last day an absentee ballot application may be mailed to the Board of Elections. April 18th is the last day to apply in person for an absentee ballot and the last day to mail a completed ballot to the Board of Elections. The Binghamton Senators & the Binghamton Mets announced that they will offer a “Downtown Doubleheader” ticket package for their game on Saturday, April 9th, that will include a ticket to both team’s games and a specialty dual logo t-shirt. The B-Mets will host the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Saturday at 1:05 p.m. at NYSEG Stadium before the B-Sens host the Albany Devils at 7:05 p.m. in the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena. Delaware County Sheriff Deputies responded to the scene of a 1-car motor vehicle accident on State Highway 30, in the Town of Hancock. 65-year-old James Stracka of Peckville, Pennsylvania, lost control of his vehicle, traveled off the roadway and struck a rock wall, allegedly while intoxicated. Stracka was arrested for DWI & moving from lane unsafely, he is scheduled to appear in the Town of Hancock Court at a later date.
The Afton School District Board of Education has cancelled their meeting scheduled for 7:00 PM tonight. Afton Superintendent Betty Briggs told WCDO that the Board meeting would be rescheduled shortly.
State Police & Otsego County emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon near Schenevus on Interstate 88, which was believed to be caused by white-out conditions. The wreck took place at about 1:45 p.m. on the westbound stretch of the highway between Exits 18 and 19 in the town of Maryland. Police said that there were no fatalities but 8 people were injured & were taken to Bassett Hospital for non-life threatening injures. Police said that the crash included a Trailways Bus, 3 tractor-trailers and 8 passenger vehicles. The section of I-88 was closed until late last night for accident reconstruction investigators & clean up.
State Police are investigating a 2 vehicle collision involving a marked New York State Police patrol vehicle that occurred Friday afternoon on State Route 17 in the Town of Kirkwood. Broome County 911 received a report of a vehicle travelling west bound in the east bound lane between exits 77 and 76, that caller then reported the head on collision with the State Police SUV. The unidentified Trooper took evasive action but was struck by the oncoming vehicle. The Operator of the pick-up was pronounced dead at the scene. The Trooper was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The investigation is continuing. The names of the deceased & the injured Trooper have not being released.
NYSEG reported that thousands were without power due to high winds late Saturday night into Sunday afternoon. about 2000 were without power in Broome & Chenango Counties this morning, This afternoon, about 100 customers were without power in Delaware & Otsego Counties. NYSEG Crews are working to restore power as quickly as possible.

There will be a Democratic and a Republican Presidential Primary Election in New York State on Tuesday, April 19th. Polls will be open from Noon to 9 PM. The Delaware County board of elections reported that the Town of Tompkins Poll Site has changed to the Tompkins Town Hall at 148 Bridge Street in Trout Creek. April 12th is the last day an absentee ballot application may be mailed to the Board of Elections. April 18th is the last day to apply in person for an absentee ballot and the last day to mail a completed ballot to the Board of Elections. April 19th is the last day for a ballot to be delivered by agent to the Board of Elections. Sample ballots for Delaware county voters can be accessed at co.delaware.ny.us.

The Binghamton Senators & the Binghamton Mets announced that they will offer a “Downtown Doubleheader” ticket package for their game on Saturday, April 9th, that will include a ticket to both team’s games and a specialty dual logo t-shirt. The B-Mets will host the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Saturday at 1:05 p.m. at NYSEG Stadium before the B-Sens host the Albany Devils at 7:05 p.m. in the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena. The Binghamton Mets players will be at the B-Sens game Saturday night to sign autographs on the concourse and interact with fans. Delaware County Sheriff Deputies responded to the scene of a 1-car motor vehicle accident on State Highway 30, in the Town of Hancock. 65-year-old James Stracka of Peckville, Pennsylvania, lost control of his vehicle, traveled off the roadway and struck a rock wall, allegedly while intoxicated. Stracka was arrested for DWI & moving from lane unsafely, he is scheduled to appear in the Town of Hancock Court at a later date.
The Afton School District Board of Education has cancelled their meeting scheduled for 7:00 PM tonight. Afton Superintendent Betty Briggs told WCDO that the Board meeting would be rescheduled shortly.
State Police & Otsego County emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon near Schenevus on Interstate 88, which was believed to be caused by white-out conditions. The wreck took place at about 1:45 p.m. on the westbound stretch of the highway between Exits 18 and 19 in the town of Maryland. Police said that there were no fatalities but 8 people were injured & were taken to Bassett Hospital for non-life threatening injures. Police said that the crash included a Trailways Bus, 3 tractor-trailers and 8 passenger vehicles. The section of I-88 was closed until late last night for accident reconstruction investigators & clean up.
