The Chenango Arts Council will have 2 major events going on Saturday, with the Allegro 5K Run/ Walk in Norwich in the Morning & a local talent showcase Saturday Night, Council Executive Director Alecia O'Neill explains:

The Talent showcase this year features local acts Lauren Mettler, Tumbleweed Gumbo, and Williams Road.

The Annual 5K Allegro 5K Run/ Walk will be held this coming Saturday in Norwich, Chenango Arts Council Executive Director Alecia O'Neill explains:

Delaware County Democrats announced that they will hold a debate between all 7 Democrats running for the 19th Congressional district seat on May 12th, from 4:00 to 6:30 pm at the Delaware Academy High School auditorium in Delhi. The event is open to the public.

Delaware County Public Health will hold their next Free Rabies Vaccination Clinic today for dogs, cats and ferrets. The Clinic will run from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at East Branch Fire Hall, More information is available at 832-5200 or delawarecountypublichealth.com

The Chenango Arts Council will host their 5K Allegro Run for the Arts and Spring Craft Fair Saturday at their 27 West Main Street Norwich location. Council Interim Executive Director Alecia O'Neill explains:

Race pre-registration is available on-line at www.chenangoarts.org. The day will conclude with the Chenango Arts Talent Showcase at the Martin W. Kappel Theater at 7:00 PM with musical guests Jess Sheldon, Woodshed Prophets & Castle Creek.

Other top lawmakers beside Silver & Skelos that have been charged with corruption related crimes include former State Senate Leaders Joe Bruno, Pedro Espada & Hiram Monserratte, & former Governor Elito Spitzer resigned due to a prostitution scandal, and a top level aide to Governor Cuomo is being investigated.

The Chenango Arts Council will feature the No BS! Brass Band on Saturday at 7:00 pm in the Martin W. Kappel Theater, 27 West Main Street in Norwich. Council Spokesperson Alecia O'Neill said that the band has gained international acclaim quickly, since they were booked a year ago:

The Chenango Arts Council will hold their fundraising “Allegro Run For The Arts" tomorrow in Norwich.  The race will began at the council’s location at 27 West Main Street  at 9:00 AM, registrations will be allowed between 8:00 & 8:45 AM tomorrow for those who did not register online for the 5K race.

The Chenango Arts Council will hold their annual 5K fundraising run, “The Allegro Run for the Arts” Saturday.  The race begins at the Council of the Arts, 27 West Main Street, Norwich at 9:00 AM, Race day registrations will be accepted from 8 until 8:45 a.m.  Entry fees race are $15 up until race day and $20 the day of the race. Students will pay $10 both pre registration and day of the race.  Registration forms are available for download at the Council’s website at www.chenangoarts.org (http://www.chenangoarts.org/).
