As deputies and Pennsylvania State Police responded to seize the vehicle, Lord was found to still be in the vehicle and he fled the parking lot, striking a Broome County patrol car and another vehicle, Vehicle tire deflation devices were successfully deployed and Lord crashed into a creek. Lord was arrested for Attempted Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer, Reckless Endangerment, Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance & Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia, The Wayne County District Attorney has also announced several felony charges.

Emergency responders were called to the scene at approximately 1:03 PM, finding smoke showing from a second story window above the Oneonta Theatre. A single fatality has been reported and the identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The Oneonta Fire and Police Departments were assisted by the West Oneonta, Otego, Franklin, Sidney, Cooperstown, and Worcester Fire Departments; the cause of the fire is under investigation.

State Police were dispatched Thursday night to a report of gunshots at Lantern Hill Mobile Home Park in Oneonta. An investigation revealed that a 40-year-old male of Oneonta, NY sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound after a dispute involving several individuals, he was taken to A.O. Fox Hospital by a private vehicle and was later transported to Bassett Hospital for further care. The vehicle carrying the victim was hit by gunfire during the incident. 34 year old Ishmael Seabrook of Oneonta was charged with 2 counts of Attempted Murder, Criminal Use of a Firearm, Criminal Possession of a Weapon & Reckless Endangerment, State Police were assisted by the Oneonta City Police Department, Seabrook was arraigned at the Otsego County Jail and was remanded without bail.

State Police arrested 57 year old Terri White of Otego for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated. Troopers were dispatched to check on White’s welfare when they discovered she had driven her vehicle while intoxicated. After administering Standardized Field Sobriety Tests that revealed indications of impairment, White was arrested. Her reportable B.A.C was .23%. White was processed and issued appearance tickets to the Oneonta Town Court on August 20, 2024 then released to a sober third party.

State Police arrested 57 year old Terri White of Otego for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated. Troopers were dispatched to check on White’s welfare when they discovered she had driven her vehicle while intoxicated. After administering Standardized Field Sobriety Tests that revealed indications of impairment, White was arrested. Her reportable B.A.C was .23%. White was processed and issued appearance tickets to the Oneonta Town Court on August 20, 2024 then released to a sober third party.
State Police arrested 33 year old Shane Katalinas of Unadilla for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Troopers were dispatched by Otsego County 911 to a report of a male slumped over the wheel of a vehicle on Winney Hill Road in Oneonta, Troopers found both Katalinas and a female passenger unresponsive but were able to wake them. Katalinas was arrested, he was transported to State Police in Oneonta where he was additionally evaluated by a New York State Police Drug Recognition Expert. Katalinas was processed and issued appearance tickets to the Oneonta Town Court on August 20, 2024, and released to a sober third party.

Otsego County Sheriff's Office arrested 29 year old Jacob Nack of Laurens for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, as well as for Executing a Bench Warrant. Nack was arrested following an investigation into a Domestic Incident in the Town of Laurens, he was found to have an active bench warrant out of the City of Oneonta and was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance, Nack was turned over to the Oneonta Police for the outstanding warrant, he will appear in Town of Laurens Court on the drug charge at a later date.

Delaware County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop for violations in the town of Middletown, Deputies arrested 28 year old Frank Mazepa of Morris for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, for driving with 3 active suspensions on his license, he was charged with several other traffic infractions, & he was directed to appear at the Town of Middletown Court at a later date to answer for the charges. Mazepa was also found to be the subject of an active violent felony arrest warrant and was turned over to the Oneonta Police Department, where he was held pending arraignment.

Delaware County District Attorney's Office announced that 37 year old Paul Fontana of Delhi was indicted & arraigned on a 27 count indictments. Fontana is accused of possessing weapons, ghost guns, a 3d printer to make ghost guns, & for selling the illegal weapons, plus he was accused of possessing oxycodone, and for menacing an individual, after his apartment was targeted for a search warrant that was executed on on Monday. more details are expected to be released later today.
