State Police arrested 37-year-old JOYCE PRINCE, of Johnson City, for 2ND Degree Criminal Sexual Act and endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent Person. The investigation revealed that PRINCE allegedly engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with a male resident at the Prospect 1 residential group home in the Town of Dickinson. Prince was arraigned in the Town of Dickinson Court and was released on her own recognizance pending further court proceedings. The investigation is continuing.

State troopers in Binghamton arrested 22-year-old Jesse Villella of Port Crane for Unlawful Possession of Marihuana. Villella was arrested as the result of a traffic stop on State Route 11 in the Town of Dickinson & was issued an Appearance Ticket returnable to the Town of Dickinson Court at a later date.
State Police at Stamford arrested 46 year old Sammy Truax of Hobart for Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .21%. The arrest resulted from a traffic stop in the Stamford, Truax was issued tickets returnable in the Town of Stamford Court on February 21st.

Broome County Sheriff’s deputies charged 22 year old Tyler Maddox of Port Dickinson with second-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree attempted assault and second-degree menacing Tuesday> Maddox is accused of attacking an individual in the head with a wooden 2-by-4. Maddox is scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Fenton Court at a later date.
State Police at Oneonta arrested 40-year-old Matthew VanBuren of Fairfield Connecticut for Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. The arrest resulted from a traffic stop on State Route 23 in Oneonta; VanBuren was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Oneonta Court on January 22nd.
State Police at Binghamton arrested 29-year-old Michael Canfield of Windsor for Driving While Intoxicated, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Petit Larceny. The arrest resulted from a dispute on State Route 11 in Kirkwood; Canfield was issued tickets returnable in the Town of Kirkwood Court at a later date.
Vestal police are investigating the circumstances around the death of 54-year-old Christine Mapes of Vestal. Mapes was pronounced dead after her body was found in the Susquehanna River, police had responded to a missing person complaint, they followed a small trail behind the residence, & found a body under the ice of the river. The investigation is continuing.
