The 10th Annual Autumn Market by 607 Events Connection (https://www.facebook.com/groups/6zero7eventshare/) will be held at General Clinton Park Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Over 70 vendors are participating including farmers, crafters, Artist, there will also be children's activities

The 15th Annual Sidney Center Tractor Parade will be held this Saturday beginning at 12:00 Noon. There is no fee to participate, there will be entertainment, raffles, the Sidney Center Fire Department will be selling barbecue chicken, more information is available at 369-9074 or 607-610-4098.

The Peila View Farms at 144 Kilroy Road in Oxford will hold their annual Autumn Family Fun will be held on Saturday & Sunday in conjunction with the Chenango County Health Department, from 11AM TO 5PM, Erica Curtis from the Chenango County Public Health told WCDO how the voucher system works for special needs children:

3 former Marcy Correctional Facility officers appeared in Oneida County Court This Morning, Nicholas Kieffer, Anthony Farina and David Kingsley are accused in connection with the fatal beating of inmate Robert Brooks in December. Farina & Kingsley both rejected the plea offer for 2nd degree murder, serving no more than 18-years-to-life in State prison. Kieffer rejected his offer of 12 years in State prison for gang assault. All 3 were ordered to return to court on June 3rd.

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit arrested 35 year old Gary Lanzo of the Town of Union on multiple felony drug and weapons charges following a warrant execution Friday. As a result of the search warrant, officers seized Cocaine, Digital Scales, Packaging Material, A Ruger .45 Caliber Revolver and a 9mm Handgun, Lanzo was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, 3 Counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia & Criminal Possession of a Weapon, he was arraigned and remanded to the Broome County Correctional Facility, where he remains in custody.

Chenango County Clerk's Office, the Bainbridge Chamber of Commerce and “4 Towns Forward", are teaming up to help local residents get a US Passport. the event will be held at the Bainbridge Community Center on Thursday June 19 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. Interested residents will need a completed passport application, the document can be found at travel.state.gov, you must also have your Original Birth Certificate with the Raised Seal, an up to date photo identification like a New York Drivers License, all services will be paid by check only.
