The City of Oneonta Department of public service will be flushing water mains today through Wednesday. Affected areas include the Wilber Park Apartments, East Street and around the East End of the city. During the flushing, water users may experience a change in water color or pressure temporarily, those with questions can call the department at 432-2100.

Sidney Village officials announced today that the Sidney Municipal Pool would be closed until further notice, due to another incident of vandalism. WCDO will have the details when they are made available.

The city of Oneonta will officially re-open the Briggs pool bathhouse in Wilber Park, with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday at 12:45 PM. The city received funding from a state office of community renewal development block grant to renovate the bathhouse, which was built in 1938. The public is invited to attend.
