State police and the Chenango county sheriffs department are continuing the search for 36-year-old Jennifer Ramsaran of South New Berlin, who was reported missing December 11th.  Ramsaran told her husband that she was heading to Syracuse to shop, her cell phone was found the following day on route 23 in the town of Plymouth, her maroon Chrysler Minivan was found Sunday in Norwich.  The investigation has shifted today to the wooded area behind the Ramsaran house on Sheff Road in South New Berlin.

The Chenango county sheriff’s department arrested 50-year-old Robert Verry of Greene for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs & unsafe Lane Change.   Verry was charged following a complaint on State Highway 12 in the Town of Norwich, he was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Norwich Court on a later date.

The Chenango county sheriffs department arrested 46 year old Khing Ran Naing or Utica for Disorderly Conduct.  Naing was charged following a complaint at the Quickway gas station in the Village of Oxford. Naing was arraigned in the Town of Norwich Court and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on $500 cash bail, he will re-appear in the Village of Oxford Court on a later date.
