A rally against the proposed CONSTITUTION Pipeline is scheduled in downtown Oneonta later today.  The rally will be in front of Foothills Performing Arts Center on Market Street in Oneonta at 5:00pm. The rally is in response to the Paradigm Liaison Services meeting inside Foothills for local government and business leaders.

The Broome County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year-old Robert Bowers of Fenton following an investigation into a fight in the Town of Fenton.  Deputies reported that after the fight was broken up, Bowers returned to his trailer, grabbed a shotgun. & fired one round through his ceiling.  Bowers was charged with 1-Count of  2nd degree Reckless Endangerment & 1 Count of Illegal Discharge of a Firearm, he was processed at the Broome County Sheriffs Office and released on two appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Fenton Court at a later date.
State troopers from Sidney  arrested 43-year-old Crezette Harris-Shoulders of Mansfield, Ohio for Improper Log Book. The arrest was the result of a report of a tractor-trailer blocking State Route 206 in Bainbridge, the Investigation revealed the tractor trailer had run out of fuel, State Police assisted with traffic control until the vehicle could be refueled,  Harris-Shoulders was issued a Ticket returnable to the Town of Bainbridge Court on May 13th.

29-year-old Kevin Buie of Endicott pleaded guilty to charges of vehicular manslaughter and 2nd degree assault, in connection with a crash that left killed 35-year-old Jonathan Pratt and seriously injured 35-year-old Joseph Dirig in downtown Binghamton last September.  Buie is being held in the Broome County Jail pending sentencing on June 19th.
