The Friends of the Rogers Center in Sherburne will be holding their Earth Fest Sunday from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 PM. A number of activities are planned, more information is available at 674-4733 or FriendsofRogers.org.

The Chenango Arts Council will host their 5K Allegro Run for the Arts and Spring Craft Fair Saturday at their 27 West Main Street Norwich location. Council Interim Executive Director Alecia O'Neill explains:

Race pre-registration is available on-line at www.chenangoarts.org. The day will conclude with the Chenango Arts Talent Showcase at the Martin W. Kappel Theater at 7:00 PM with musical guests Jess Sheldon, Woodshed Prophets & Castle Creek.

The 3rd Annual Spring Fest will be held Saturday, at the Copes Corners Park on State Route 51 in Gilbertville. Spokesman Scott Lueck told WCDO news that more activities were added this year:

The Village of Sidney announced that sign ups For recreational spring sports are currently underway. sign ups are available for Major & minor League Baseball, Quad County Softball, Coed Peewee ball & t-ball. forms are not being mailed out, but are available at the Sidney Elementary school, the village clerks office or online at villageofsidney.org, forms must be submitted by March 10th.

Broome County & the city of Binghamton announced that the Empire Road Race Series would begin on March 4th. The 10 race series will run through November 23rd, some of the races will coincide with the Parlor City 5K race during July Fest, and the Kelly LaBarre 5K race during Spiedie Fest.
