The last day to register to vote in the November 3rd General Election for Delaware county residents is Friday October 9, 2015, it is also the last day for the Board of Elections to receive an enrollment change to be effective for 2016. The 52nd Senate District covering Deposit and Hancock has a 1-year vacancy. County Court Judge and County Family Court Judge and many town offices are up for election. Absentee ballots, sample ballots with any propositions for the General Election are available at the Board of Elections Office in Delhi, Registration Forms and Absentee Ballot applications may be downloaded from co.delaware.ny.us/departments.

The 2nd annual Protect Our Angels SIDS Awareness Walk will be held in Sidney Saturday in memory of area Babies lost to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. The Walk will be Saturday from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM at Keith Clark Park in Sidney, more information & registration is available at protectourangels.org
