Delaware County Sheriff's Deputies and members of the Delhi Fire Department and Emergency Squad responded to an off-road, All Terrain Vehicle accident on Tuesday night at Elk Creek Road. 75-year-old Peter Clark of Delhi left his farm shortly after 6:00 PM, to search for lost livestock in a wooded area when his four wheeled ATV rolled over, trapping Clark’s legs beneath the vehicle. Clark was located in the woods; he was extricated by Delhi Fire and EMS personnel and was transported to O’Connor Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Another American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held today in Norwich, at the offices of Commerce Chenango at 15 South Broad Street. The drive will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 PM, Parking is available in the city lot behind Hummel's, with access to the Commerce Chenango offices from that lot. Fire departments in & around Chenango county were kept busy Wednesday afternoon. Firefighters responded to a house fire at 266 Kilroy Road in Oxford, a stove fire at 11 South Main Street in Bainbridge, and another house fire at 389 County Road 27 in Coventry, all toned out within a 30 minute time frame. Chenango County EMS stated that firefighters from Coventry, Afton, Greene, Sidney, Bainbridge, Masonville, Oxford, Guilford, Norwich, Brisben, Preston and the Chenango County Bureau of Fire responded to all calls, no injuries were reported.
