The State DOT will hold a public meeting Today, regarding plans to rehabilitate a bridge on State Route 28 in the town of Milford, The meeting will be held at Milford Central School, the Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and a formal presentation will be conducted at 7 p.m. The bridge was built in 1985 and carries State Route 28 over State Route 7 and the Norfolk Southern Railroad Main Line. The purpose of the meeting is to share and exchange information with the public regarding the project and its potential impacts, including proposed work zone traffic control options to manage traffic during construction.
Red Cross Blood Drives will be held today in the region. In Bainbridge, the blood drive will be held from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at the Greenlawn Elementary School, from 4:00 to 8:00 at the Harold BOCES campus in Masonville & in Oneonta from 1:00 to 6:00 PM at the St James Episcopal Church, 305 Main Street. The State DOT will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, May 24, regarding plans to rehabilitate a bridge on State Route 28 in the town of Milford. The meeting will be held at Milford Central School, at 7:00 PM. The bridge was built in 1985 and carries State Route 28 over State Route 7 and the Norfolk Southern Railroad Freight Main Line. The Sidney Central School District will be holding its Budget Hearing Tuesday night at 7:00 pm in the high school library. Dr. Christensen will be presenting the 2016-17 school budget. The public is invited to attend.
The Otsego County District Attorney's Office reported the arrest of 45-year-old Kevin Blush of Milford for 2nd degree rape & child endangerment. Blush is accused of performing sexual acts with a female under the age of 15; he was arraigned in the Town of Hartwick and remanded to the Otsego County Correctional Facility on $5,000 bail. He faces court action on May 11th. A temporary order of protection was issued for the victim.

State Police arrested 23-year-old Dylan Debrock of the town of Maryland, for DWI. The arrest occurred after a trooper responded to an erratic vehicle spinning its tires on Valley View Estates Road in the Town of Milford. The trooper located the 1995 Ford Thunderbird stuck just of the roadway with Debrock standing on the hood. An investigation determined that he was driving while intoxicated when his car slid off the roadway became stuck. Debrock was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Milford on February 16,
