The State Environmental Facilities Corporation Board of Directors approved $265 million in financial assistance for water infrastructure improvement projects across the state. , $30 million in grants from the federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will help 30 communities across the state to inventory lead service lines in drinking water systems, Locally, the City of Oneonta will get a $2,000,000 grant and $3,072,625 interest-free financing and a $3,000,000 WIIA grant for upgrades to the water treatment plant and storage and distribution system. The Board also approved approximately $30 million for lead service line inventory projects for numerous municipalities, including the Villages of Delhi & Walton locally.
