State Senator Jim Seward announced a $50,000 state grant he secured to help with improvements at Copes Corners Park in the Town of Butternuts. The capital funding has been used to help with improvements to the park's bathroom facilities, pavilions, and purchase of playground equipment, it was included in the 2015-16 state budget and secured by Senator Seward through the New York State and Municipal Facilities Program.

The Copes Corners Park Committee of the Town of Butternuts is seeking vendors for its second annual Spring Fest, to be held at the park on Saturday, May 7 from 10 a.m. To 6 p.m. Vendor registration forms are available on the park's website, copescornerspark.org or at 783-2905 or 783-2518. The event will feature family activities throughout the day, and it will conclude with a concert by Tumbleweed Highway, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

The Copes Corners Park Committee of the Town of Butternuts is seeking vendors for its 2nd annual Spring Fest, to be held at the park on Saturday, May 7th from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Vendor registration forms are available on the park's website, copescornerspark.org or through town clerkâs office at 783-2905 or at 783-2518. The fee for a 12' by 12' booth is $25. All vendors must send the registration form and fee by April 22nd Organizers said that the event would feature family activities throughout the day, including music by Tumbleweed Highway beginning at 6:00 PM.
