Delaware County Sheriff's Office arrested 40 year old Christopher Lacey of Downsville for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, following an investigation into a motor vehicle accident on October 5th on River Road in the Town of Colchester. Deputies reported that the driver left the scene, Walton Police located Lacey, who's driving privileges were revoked for refusing to submit to a chemical test. Lacey was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Colchester Court at a later date.
The 2022 New York State Fallen Firefighters Memorial Ceremony will honor 11 firefighters who gave their lives in the line of duty. The Memorial was dedicated in 1998, to honor fallen firefighters every year in October, it also pays tribute to the more than 100,000 New York State active firefighters who risk their lives every day to protect New Yorkers. Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado will deliver remarks at this mornings memorial, starting at 11:00 AM in Albany.

Otsego County Sheriff's Office arrested 29 year old Christopher Ruiz of the Town of Hartwick on 55 counts of violating an order of protection while incarcerated at the correctional facility. Ruiz is accused of contacting a party that was protected by an order of protection, over 100 times while remanded at the Otsego County correctional facility.
The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce will hold their free virtual Third Thursday event this morning from 8:30 to 9:30 AM. The City of Norwich Police Department and the Chenango
County Sheriff’s Office are seeking information on 31 year old Christopher
Lacroce, for allegedly leading Police on a high speed chase last Friday, &
who is also wanted on a warrant for allegedly hitting a pedestrian with a
vehicle September 15th at the intersection of Mitchell and Silver streets in
Norwich. Lacroce faces charges of
2nd-degree assault, among other charges that are pending following Friday’s
chase. Anyone with information
regarding Lacroce’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Norwich City Police
Department at 607-334-2424 or the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office at
607-334-2000.

that $1,239,817 in federal funds were recently awarded to the Friends of the
Upper Delaware River and Trout Unlimited as part of the Delaware Watershed
Conservation Fund. These new funds will allow local organizations to conserve
and restore fish and wildlife habitat, enhance and maintain water quality, and
improve river-based recreational opportunities and public access in the Upper

report of a child abuse in the Town of Walton. Deputies allege that Alvarez acted
in a manner which was injurious to the physical, mental, and moral welfare of a
child less than 17 years of age, he was arraigned at Walton Village Court and
later release on his own recognizance. Alvarez is set to return to the Town of
Walton Court on a later date for further court proceedings.

State Police Responded to an apparent Murder Suicide in the town of Stamford Tuesday, after 57 year old Christopher German of South Kortright failed to show up for work in Cooperstown. Troop C BCI Captain Scott Heggelke Explains:

Captain Heggelke said that the incident occurred after 9:00 PM Monday; The Delaware County Coroner's Office ordered the bodies removed for autopsies, which were being performed at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton this afternoon, the official cause and approximate time of death is expected to be in the final Autopsy report, which may be released later today.

Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies and Investigators arrested 49 year old Christopher Knipper of Harpersfield for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property and Falsifying Business Records. Knipper is accused of possessing a stolen motor vehicle that he took to a scrap yard where he had claimed ownership of the vehicle. He was arraigned in the Town of Davenport Court and remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility on $10,000 cash or $20,000 secured bond.
The State Supreme Court Appellate Division ruled that Actress Diane Neal of Hurley will be on the November ballot as an independent congressional candidate in the 19th District. The state Board of Elections last month rejected over 1,800 of the more than 4,100 signatures on Neal's petition, on Monday, the state Supreme Court Appellate Division ruled in Neal's favor in her challenge of the decision. State Troopers of Oneonta arrested 42-year-old Christopher Russo of Colliersville for Criminal Obstruction of Breathing and Harassment. The arrest resulted from an investigation into a dispute on State Route 23 in Oneonta, Russo was arraigned in the Town of Oneonta Court & faces additional court action at a later date.

Delgado is a student at Hartwick College, he was charged with making a terrorist threat, in which referenced Columbine killer Dylan Klebold. Delgado was arraigned in Oneonta City Court and sent to Otsego County jail on $1,000 bail, pending future court action.
