Chenango county sheriffs department arrested an Ocala, Florida resident on a arrest warrant as a fugitive from justice. 36-year-old Brian Copeland wanted for the felony offense of lewd and lascivious molestation of a child, he was located by a deputy at a business in the Town of Norwich and was taken into custody without incident. Copeland was arraigned in the Chenango County Court & he signed a waiver of extradition, to be transported back to Florida. Copeland was remanded to the Chenango County Jail without bail pending extradition back to Florida.

Chenango County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Brian Copeland of Norwich on a charge of 4th degree Criminal Mischief.  Copeland was arrested after deputies responded to a domestic dispute in the Town of Norwich; Copeland is accused of destroying property of the victim during an altercation.   Copeland was arraigned in the Town Norwich Court and was released and ordered to appear in the Town of Norwich Court at a later date.

The Chenango County sheriffs department arrested 35-year-old Brian Copeland of Norwich for Petty Larceny.   Copeland is accused of selling a go-cart to another subject without the permission of the owner; he was issued an appearance ticket for Town of Norwich Court at a later date.
