The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Town of Oxford man for Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance. The Narcotics Division arrested 24-year-old Travis DeMuth of Oxford following an investigation of the manufacturing and selling methamphetamine in Chenango County. DeMuth was located with the assistance of State Parole; he was arraigned in the Town of Oxford Court and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on $30,000 cash bail. The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.

The Chenango county sheriff’s department arrested 20-year-old Travis Demuth of Oxford for 2nd degree Criminal Contempt. Demuth was located in a motor vehicle with the protected party of the order of protection, during a traffic stop in the Town of Norwich, he was taken into custody, arraigned in the Town of Norwich Court & was remanded to the Chenango County jail on $500 cash bail to reappear at a later date.

The Chenango county sheriffs department arrested 20-year-old Travis Demuth of Oxford for 2nd degree Criminal Contempt.   Demuth is accused of violating an active order of protection issued in the Town of Norwich Court; he was released on his own recognizance and is to reappear in the Town of Afton Court at a later date.
