Jabari Ashe of Binghamton was sentenced to 25 years to life in Prison in Broome County Court for the fatal shooting of Tyquan Gumbs in Binghamton on April 28th of 2017. Ashe was charged with 2nd degree murder, he was found guilty in Broome County Court recently following a 3 day trial.

21-year-old Jabari Ashe was found guilty today in Broome County Court, for the April 2017 murder of Tyquan Gumbs according to the Broome County District Attorney's Office says the jury found Jabari Ashe guilty of murder in Broome County Court on Friday. Ashe was found guilty of the fatal shooting of Gumbs, whose body was found behind a residence on Fayette Street in Binghamton last year.

Binghamton Police charged 21-year-old Jabari Ashe of Brooklyn for 2nd degree Murder, in connection with the death of 26-year-old Tyquan Gumbs of Binghamton. Gumbs was fatally shot on April 28th at 10 Fayette Street in Binghamton. Ashe was arrested in Brooklyn; He was arraigned & was remanded to the Broome County Jail.

Binghamton police are investigating the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Tyquan Gumbs at 10 Fayette Street in the city Friday night. Gumbs was found at the rear of the building, anyone with information is asked to contact the Police Department at 772-7080.
