Otsego County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of an Ohio man for Criminal Possession of a Weapon and numerous other charges after being stopped on I-88 in the Town of Oneonta on May 8th for erratic operation of a motor vehicle.  51 year old Scott Travis was charged with Criminal Possession Weapon Firearm/Handgun, Driving while Intoxicated, Refusal to take Breath Test, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and speeding among other charges, Travis was turned over to the Otsego County Correctional Facility following arraignment.

A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital announced the appointment of 5 new members to their Board of Directors. The Chenango County District Attorney's office announced that 28-year-old Travis St. Denny of Norwich accepted a plea deal Monday in Chenango County Court. St. Denny pleaded guilty to 2 counts of criminal sex act, and one count of producing obscene materials to a minor. St. Denny agreed to serve 5 years for each criminal sex act charge, resulting in a 10-year prison term, followed by 10 years of post-release supervision. He will be sentenced in September.
