Delaware County Sheriff's Investigators arrested 33-year-old Jason Wilsey of Davenport on a Sealed Indictment for 1st degree Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance. Wilsey was arraigned in Delaware county court, he posted bail, which had been set at $50,000 cash, or $100,000 bond. The arrest followed a 2-year investigation conducted by both the Delaware and Otsego County Sheriff’s Office, the US DEA & local law enforcement into the source and sale of pharmaceutical Oxycodone powder from Covidien Pharmaceuticals in Hobart, where Jason Wilsey was employed. His brother Robert Wilsey was arrested last month for his involvement, Dante Major who was sentenced to 55 years to life, as well as fined $260,000, in Otsego County Court for selling the narcotics.

40-year-old Robert Wilsey of Harpersfield was arrested as a part of a continuing, joint investigation being conducted by the Delaware and Otsego County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Divisions and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration in cooperation with State Police. Deputies charged Wilsey with 2nd degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, for allegedly possessing over 5 ounces of Oxycodone powder, with street value of $50,000. Wilsey is being held in the Delaware County jail without bail, officials said that Wilsey is expected to face additional charges and additional arrests are anticipated. Investigators continue to work with the Covidien to identify sources of diverted pharmaceutical narcotics from within the Pharmaceutical Company.

40 year old Robert Wilsey of Harpersfield was arrested following a joint investigation by the Delaware and Otsego County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Divisions and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration in cooperation with State Police. Deputies charged Wilsey with 2nd degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance following the execution of a search warrant, for allegedly possessing over five ounces of Oxycodone powder, with a street value of $50,000. Wilsey was arraigned in the Town of Stamford Court and remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility without bail. Wilsey is expected to face additional charges shortly as the investigation continues.
