41 year old Philip Albergo of Delhi appeared in the Delaware County Court and pleaded guilty to 2 counts of Criminal Mischief, Judge Hubbard sentenced him to 1 year of jail on each count to be served concurrently. On July 1, Albergo had damaged his apartment by ripping out the electrical wiring & kicked a door in response to receiving eviction papers, he was indicted by the Delaware County Grand Jury, was arraigned & was released on the condition that he have no further violations of the law. In August, Albergo returned to the apartment and smashed a window, he was indicted again by a Grand Jury, an arrest warrant was issued, and Albergo was taken into custody. Albergo was issued an order of protection for 3 years and and was ordered to pay restitution to the landlord.

Delaware County Sheriff's Department Investigators arrested 35 year old Philip Albergo of Meridale and charged him with Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Unlawfully Dealing With Fireworks and Dangerous Fireworks. Albergo was out on Probation on an unrelated charge, Probation Officers discovered a high capacity ammunition feeding device, which is banned in New York State, they also seized numerous unlawful fireworks. Albergo is being held at the Delaware County Correctional Facility as a Probation Violator, to be arraigned in the Town of Meredith Court on these charges at a later time.
