The Otsego County Sheriff's Office arrested 22 year old Nicholas Harrington of Preston for multiple counts of Burglary, Grand Larceny, & Criminal Possession of Stolen property, Harrington allegedly entered a barn and stole a Can-Am 4 wheeler along with several cans of gas, he was observed loading it in to the bed of a white Dodge pick-up truck that investigators were familiar with as being used in other crimes in Chenango County. On Tuesday, Harrington was located in Morris and taken in to custody on the charges from the Town of Butternuts & on 3 warrants from Chenango County. A search warrant was executed in Morris where stolen items were located, as well as the white pick-up truck, which was stolen from another county. Harrington was being held in the Otsego County Correctional Facility on $10,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.

Chenango County Sheriff's Office arrested 21 year old Nicholas Harrington on 4 active warrants and an additional open case. On May 29, Harrington was arrested by the Chenango County Sheriff’s Detectives Division, there were warrants for Forgery, for being the operator of a vehicle in an accident, for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property & Grand Larceny, and for a stolen vehicle, he was taken into custody in the Town of Pitcher, he was arraigned & was released on his own recognizance pending future court action.

The Chenango County Sheriff's Office arrested 28-year-old Justin Harrington of Sherburne, for Sexual Abuse, endangering the welfare of a child, and forcible touching. Harrington allegedly subjected a victim under the age of 13 to sexual contact on multiple occasions. He was arraigned in the Town of Sherburne Court and taken to the Chenango County Jail on $10,000 bail.
State Senator Jim Seward and Assemblyman Cliff Crouch will be in Delaware County, at 2:00 PM today at the Ouleout Creek Golf Course in North Franklin, for a highway dedication ceremony for fallen Marine Corps Corporal Nicholas Uzenski of Franklin, who was killed in Afghanistan in 2010 during Operation Enduring Freedom. Members of Corporal Uzenski’s family, local elected officials and law enforcement representatives will be on hand for the ceremony.
