The Chenango County Sheriff's Office arrested 29-year-old Mark Pittsley of Preston for Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana. Pittsley was charged following a traffic stop in the Town of Preston, his blood alcohol content was more than 3 times the legal limit; he was also in possession of marihuana. Pittsley was released & faces court action at a later date.

Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated a 2-car property damage motor vehicle accident at the intersection of River Road and Interstate 88 access road in the Town of Sidney.  A vehicle operated by 64 year old Michael Sisson of Oneonta, was making a left turn off River Road and pulled into the path of a vehicle operated by 59 year old Mark Hopper of Wells Bridge.  Sisson was issued a traffic ticket for fail to yield right of way.
