Hospice & Palliative Care of Chenango County are collecting items for their 2022 home made sale, which will be held in October, Hospice Spokesperson Sarah Green told WCDO News what kind of home made items they are looking for:

Green said that the Items must be in to Hospice by September 23rd, the sale will be held at the hospice location at 33- 39 Court Street in Norwich on October 15th from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, more information is available at 334-3556.

The Election results have been tabulated; in the 19th Congressional District, special election, Pat Ryan appears to have defeated Republican Marcus Molinaro to fill the Congressional seat through the end of this year. 51st State Senate District, incumbent Republican Peter Oberacker won & will be on the ballot in November. In the 52nd State Senate District, Lea Webb won the Democratic party nomination, and will face Republican Rich David in November. In the 19th Congressional District, the Democratic Party Primary Josh Riley is the winner & he will appear on the Ballot in November for the term starting January 1st 2023.

Polling places are open through 9:00 PM tonight for Primary Races, as well as a special Election locally to fill the 19th Congressional District, between Republican Marcus Molinaro and Democrat Patrick Ryan, the winner will fill the position through the end of this year. Primaries are being held locally for the 51st State Senate District, incumbent Republican Peter Oberacker faces a primary challenge from Terry Bernardo, in the 52nd State Senate District, Democrats Lea Webb & Leslie Danks Burke are running for the Democratic party nomination. In the 19th Congressional District, the Democratic Party Primary candidates are Jamie Cheney & Josh Riley, the winner in that race will appear on the Ballot in November for the term starting January 1st 2023.
