Hospice & Palliative Care of Chenango County are collecting items for their 2022 home made sale, which will be held in October, Hospice Spokesperson Sarah Green told WCDO News what kind of home made items they are looking for:

Green said that the Items must be in to Hospice by September 23rd, the sale will be held at the hospice location at 33- 39 Court Street in Norwich on October 15th from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, more information is available at 334-3556.

The Election results have been tabulated; in the 19th Congressional District, special election, Pat Ryan appears to have defeated Republican Marcus Molinaro to fill the Congressional seat through the end of this year. 51st State Senate District, incumbent Republican Peter Oberacker won & will be on the ballot in November. In the 52nd State Senate District, Lea Webb won the Democratic party nomination, and will face Republican Rich David in November. In the 19th Congressional District, the Democratic Party Primary Josh Riley is the winner & he will appear on the Ballot in November for the term starting January 1st 2023.

Polling places are open through 9:00 PM tonight for Primary Races, as well as a special Election locally to fill the 19th Congressional District, between Republican Marcus Molinaro and Democrat Patrick Ryan, the winner will fill the position through the end of this year. Primaries are being held locally for the 51st State Senate District, incumbent Republican Peter Oberacker faces a primary challenge from Terry Bernardo, in the 52nd State Senate District, Democrats Lea Webb & Leslie Danks Burke are running for the Democratic party nomination. In the 19th Congressional District, the Democratic Party Primary candidates are Jamie Cheney & Josh Riley, the winner in that race will appear on the Ballot in November for the term starting January 1st 2023.

A special Election Day will be held tomorrow, starting at 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. A Special Election is being held locally to fill the 19th Congressional District, following the appointment of Antonio Delgado to Lieutenant Governor, the candidates are Republican Marcus Molinaro and Democrat Patrick Ryan, the winner will fill the position through the end of this year. Also, due to the state's redistricting issues earlier this year, there will be primaries for Congressional and State Senate seats, in the 51st State Senate District, incumbent Republican Peter Oberacker faces a primary challenge from Terry Bernardo, in the 52nd State Senate District, Lea Webb & Leslie Danks Burke are running for the Democratic party nomination. Both candidates are looking to fill the seat vacated by Antonio Delgado, who now serves as the New York Lieutenant Governor. The event will be held tonight from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at the Roscoe Beer Company Garden, on 145 Rockland Road. The special election will be held on August 23rd.

4 out of the 5 New York Gubernatorial Candidates will participate in a debate in Albany tonight. Governor Cuomo has opted out of tonight's debate, republican Marcus Molinaro, Libertarian Larry Sharpe; Green Party Candidate Howie Long & Independent Stephanie Miner will participate, at the College of St. Rose in Albany at 6:00pm.

There are no further plans for a debate between Gubernatorial candidates between now & Election Day. One debate was held downstate last week between Democratic Incumbent Andrew Cuomo & Republican Challenger Marcus Molinaro, Independent Stephanie Miner, Green Party candidate Howie Hawkins & Libertarian Larry Sharpe were excluded from that debate.

Governor Cuomo & Republican Candidate Marcus Molinaro held a televised debate last night, carried on CBS Affiliates around the state. The debate only featured the 2 major party candidates & did not include Libertarian Larry Sharpe, Green Candidate Howie Hawkins and independent ex-Syracuse Mayor Stephanie Miner.

The latest Sienna Poll has Governor Cuomo ahead of Republican challenger Marcus Molinaro by a 50 to 28% margin, with Working Families Party candidate Cynthia Nixon at 10% and 3 other candidates with a combined support of 4% & 8% were still undecided. The latest Siena College poll also has incumbent US Senator Kirsten Gillibrand ahead of Republican challenger Chele Farley by a 61 to 29% margin. In the race for Attorney General, Democrat Letitia James leads Republican Keith Wofford 50 to 36%.

The newest Siena College poll shows Andrew Cuomo leading his primary challenger 63% to 22% the first poll released after last week's contentious debate, and coming only 2 days before the Primary Vote on Thursday. Cuomo also maintains a large lead over likely Republican Candidate Marcus Molinaro.

Governor Cuomo will debate Democratic Party Challenger, actress Cynthia Nixon in a debate at Hofstra University in Nassau County this evening. The debate will begin at 7:00 PM, Nixon trails Cuomo in the polls by a large margin, and this is the only debate scheduled between the 2 before the September 13th primary. The Winner will face Republican Marcus Molinaro, who also trails Cuomo by a large margin in recent polls.

Governor Cuomo continues to hold a large lead over Democratic Party challenger, Cynthia Nixon, A Siena Poll released today has Cuomo at 60% & Nixon at 29% among Democrats. Primary day this year is Thursday, September 13th. Cuomo has also maintained large leads over expected Republican nominee Marcus Molinaro.

Governor Cuomo has a large lead against his challengers, according to the latest Quinnipiac Poll. Cuomo topped Democratic challenger Cynthia Nixon by 59 to 23% among registered Democratics, against Republican candidate Marc Molinaro, Cuomo had a 43 to 23% lead.

Governor Cuomo has more than $31 million in his campaign account after raising $6 million over the past six months, according to filing information that was made public this week. Democratic primary opponent, actress Cynthia Nixon raised about $1.6 million since she launched her candidacy; Republican candidate Marcus Molinaro raised $1.1 million.

Former Syracuse Mayor Stephanie Miner is launching an independent run for governor. Miner tweeted today that she’s running as “a citizen of New York.” Governor Cuomo should have the Democratic Party nomination in the upcoming primary, Republican Dutchess County executive Marcus Molinaro has his party's nod for the general election matchup. Actress Cynthia Nixon has won the nomination of the Working Families Party.

Governor Andrew Cuomo has a 51-44% favorability rating among likely general election voters, according to the latest Sienna Poll. Cuomo leads Republican Marcus Molinaro by a 56-37%, Among Democrats, Cuomo leads Cynthia Nixon 61-26%. Nixon leads Molinaro by a 46-35% margin.

Both major political parties will have their convention Wednesday & Thursday of this week. Democrats are holding theirs on Long Island, as actress Cynthia Nixon tries to push her way past incumbent Governor Andrew Cuomo, who is expected to be endorsed at the convention by Hillary Clinton. Republicans are holding their convention in New York City, where Marcus Molinaro appears to be unchallenged in his party for the gubernatorial nomination.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Marcus Molinaro named former Rye City Councilwoman Julie Killian his running mate for lieutenant governor on Sunday; Killian is former two-time state Senate candidate, the state Republican Party Convention will begin Wednesday in New York City.

State Senator Fred Akshar Announced that he will NOT be the running mate of Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Marcus Molinaro this year. Akshar was reportedly one of possible candidates considered by Molinaro, Akshar is expected to run for his seat in the State Senate again in November.

Dutchess County Executive & leading Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Marcus Molinaro released his 2017 tax returns over the weekend. Molinaro & his wife earned $174,048 last year, most of it as the Dutchess County executive, and from a rental property. Currently he is the only remaining Republican looking to challenge Andrew Cuomo for Governor this year. Democratic candidate; actress cynthia Nixon released her tax returns Friday, she earned about 1.5 Million dollars last year, through investments & acting & royalties, she gave $53,000 to various charities. Governor Cuomo's returns showed that he had $212,000 in income and a combined tax bill of $55,000 in 2017; He gave $11,000 in charitable contributions.

A new survey from Quinnipiac University has Governor Cuomo leading actress Cynthia Nixon by a 50% to 28% margin. The poll also has Cuomo with a comfortable lead over the likely Republican nominee, Marcus Molinaro by a 57 to 26% margin.

The Latest Siena College Poll released Today shows that Governor Cuomo still holds a commanding lead over actress Cynthia Nixon among registered Democratic voters by a 58 to 27% margin. The poll also has Cuomo with commanding leads over Republican candidates State Senator John DeFrancisco and Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro.
