WCDO Sports Director Nate Lull traveled to Binghamton on Saturday to cover the Division-1 Binghamton University Women's Basketball team hosting U-Albany. Hancock alumna Laycee Drake plays for Albany and always has great support from local fans when her team plays close to home. Nate caught up with Laycee after the game to ask her what it's like to play in front of family and friends:

Laycee transferred to U-Albany this year after playing 3 years at a Division-1 U-M-B-C college near Baltimore, Maryland. Her Albany team is currently 18 and 4 this season and she is really enjoying the success of her new program:

It was a Basketball Homecoming for Hancock resident Laycee Drake at Binghamton University, Drake plays for The University of Maryland Baltimore County Retrievers, they took on the Lady Bearcats in Binghamton last night, WCDO Sports Director Nate Lull said that drake received tremendous local support last night:

Drake graduated from Hancock on 2021 and finished her High School Career with over 1800 points, she scored 11 point last night, but Binghamton won the game 80-70.
