The Shelter Saviors who matched the December donations were Alpine Roofing, Island Premium Printing, Forno Enterprises, McDowell & Walker, Lambrecht Auction, Oneonta Fence, Roasted Coffee House, & Deer-run Collectibles.

The Recent "Pawstruck" Fundraiser at Awestruck Ciders of Sidney, raised a substantial amount of money for the Delaware Valley Humane Society, WCDO's Grace Benkovitz  & Society Director Erin Insinga told WCDO how much was raised:

Delaware County District Attorney's Office announced the indictment of 51 year old David Gensler of Delhi, for 1st degree Rape, Stalking, Unlawful imprisonment & Sexual Abuse. Gensler is accused of forcibly compelling another person to engage in sexual contact, engaging in a course of conduct with the intent to cause mental and emotional harm, restrained another person which exposed them to risk of serious physical injury and forcibly compel sexual abuse against another. The investigation is ongoing, Gensler was remanded to the Delaware County Jail without bail.

The Sidney Emergency squad employs about 30 people, and they are looking to replace their ambulances on a regular basis, they cost over $200,000 to replace.

Lambrecht Auction in Sidney held their 2nd Annual Sidney EMS Charity event Saturday at their Sidney Location on Delaware Avenue. Jared Lambrecht told WCDO News this afternoon that they raised $50,800 for the Sidney Emergency Squad, that is in need of a new fully loaded ambulance, which costs about $250,000. Last year they raised $18,000 in their 1st charity auction effort for the Emergency squad.

The Gilbertsville Improvement Society has an online auction through Lambrecht Auction of Bainbridge. 80 items are offered, Those interested in viewing or bidding on auction items may visit lambrechtauction.com or www.laibids.com Bidding closes on February 16th. An in-person preview of auction items will be held on February 11th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon at the Gilbert Block on Commercial Street. The auction is raising funds for maintenance and structural improvements of the Gilbert Block.

Attorney General Letitia James along with the Department of Justice & a coalition of 8 states allege that Google has engaged in a 15-year, organized campaign so it could obtain outsized influence at all levels of the ad tech industry, and has used its power to reduce competition. Through this lawsuit, the coalition of states are seeking to have Google sell off various ad tech tools to restore a competitive balance in digital advertising, other states involved in the lawsuit include California, Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Tennessee, and Virginia.

The Village of Bainbridge announced that due to a water main break near Lambrecht's Auction House on County Road 38, water service will be interrupted this morning starting at 7:00 Am, until the break is repaired.  Residents north of the Auction house on Route 38, Searles Hill Road, Bliss Road, Crest Drive and Williams Lane will be affected.  (The repair was completed at about 7:15 AM)

The Village of Bainbridge
announced that their crews repaired a Water Main Break today.  The leak was discovered at about 11:00 AM
today in a 4" water main near Lambrecht's auction property, Village Water
customers on Guilford Road, Searles Hill Road, Bliss Road & Crest Drive
were affected, the repair was completed at about 12:30 this afternoon, some
residents may experience muddy water, they are advised to let it run until the
water clears.

The Village of Bainbridge will be conducting a water main
operation near the Lambrecht Auction building, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM today,
which will require the shutdown of Water Mains feeding Guilford Road, Crest
Drive, Bliss Road, Grigoli Lane, Dew Drop Lane & Williams Lane.  Officials urge area residents to store extra
water for drinking, cooking & other purposes.

DELAWARE COUNTY DEPUTIES ARRESTED 30 YEAR OLD JOHN SMOLOSKIS OF DUNMORE PENNSYLVANIA ON AN ARREST WARRANT FOR 3RD DEGREE GRAND LARCENY & ISSUING A BAD CHECK.  SMOLOSKIS IS ACCUSED OF OBTAINING CONSTRUCTION TOOLS & MATERIALS VALUED OVER $7,000 FROM LAMBRECHT AUCTION & REAL ESTATE, AND ISSUING A CHECK THAT WAS DISHONORED BY PENN SECURITY BANK & TRUST.  SMOLOSKIS WAS ARRAIGNED IN SIDNEY COURT & WAS REMANDED TO THE DELAWARE COUNTY JAIL.
