The Binghamton Police Department announced the identification of the victim from the stabbing at the Salvation Army on Tuesday as 57 year old Kevin Ray of Endicott. Michael Brutvan was charged with 2nd degree murder for the death of Ray, police responded at about 5:15 PM to a report of a stabbing at the Salvation Army, Ray with stab wounds to his shoulder and neck and succumbed to his injuries at an area hospital..

Today is Election Day, with the polls open until 9:00 PM tonight. Locally, voters will decide on who fills a seat on the State Supreme Court between Deidre Hay & Cheryl Insinga. In the town of Sidney, the 2 biggest vote getters will sit on the Town Board between Kevin Greene, Paul Muratore & Bill Hunt, In the town of Guilford Susan McIntyre, Gilda Ward & Thomas Quiter are running for town Supervisor. Many candidates are running unopposed for a variety of positions across the WCDO listening area. Voters can go to their county Board of Elections websites to see the candidates in their local races.
The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce announced that their annual Toys for Tots Campaign is underway, to get Christmas gifts to Delaware County children in need. New, unwrapped Christmas gift in a Toys for Tots collection box located in businesses & organizations throughout Delaware County.

State Police Investigators continue to search for Brandon Williams who was last seen on March 11, 2019. At the time that Brandon went missing, he was 32 years old, weighing about 220 pounds and 6’2” in height. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, gray jeans, black Converse sneakers, a New England Patriots winter hat and a tan Carhart jacket with black writing on it. The Sidney Democratic Committee is holding a Meet and Greet for Deirdre Hay, who is running on the Democratic line for NY State Supreme Court Justice for the 6th Judicial District, in the upcoming November 7th general election. Hay will meet with area residents at 6:30 in the Sidney Library Smart Community Room tonight. Hay is running for the seat against Republican candidate Cheryl Insinga. 43 year old Ray Hyer of Unadilla was arrested in Ohio after he failed to appear in n Otsego County court earlier this year for sentencing on a criminal sexual act charge. Hyer was located in Sandusky, Ohio on October 21st, he was arrested and was extradited back to the Otsego County Jail, he faces additional charges on top of the original criminal sexual act conviction.

Chenango County Sheriff's Deputies arrested 32 year old Kevin ray of Norwich for 1- Count Welfare Fraud & 1- Count Offering a False Instrument for filing.  Ray was issued an appearance ticket and released after an investigation into welfare fraud, where he allegedly failed to report a change in his household, and received over $3000 in assistance that he was not entitled to.
