Condon appealed the sentence for Criminal Sexual Act for abusing an 8 year old child, but after losing the appeal, Condon's original sentence will stand.

Yesterday was Election Day, The Delaware County Board of Elections did not announce a winner for the Sidney Town Supervisor’s race, between write-in candidates Eric Wilson & Kevin Greene, Officials told WCDO News it will take days or maybe even weeks to count & certify all of the write in votes across all 19 towns from this year's elections, there were 552 write in Votes Tuesday in Sidney Town Supervisors race. The winners for the Sidney Town board were Frank Selleck & Bill Heath, in the Town of Meredith, Town Council winners were John Janiszewski & David Briggs, the Town of Franklin Board seats go to Garret Sitts & Heather Ross, the town of Middletown Supervisor Will be Patrick Davis, the Town of Tompkins Clerk was Michelle Phoenix, in the Town Of Delhi, the supervisor will be Mark Tuttle, the Town Council winners were Margaret Baldwin & Matthew Kryston & the Walton Town Supervisor will be Joseph Cetta. In Chenango County, Sheriff Ernest Cutting was re-elected, The County Clerk winner is Brian Wessels, & the winners for the Norwich City Council are Fred Gee, William Loomis, Tom Revoir & Barry Christopherson. Deputies arrested 34 year old Joshua Gardepe of East Branch on charges of
Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Speeding, and inadequate headlamps. The arrest
followed a traffic stop on State Route 357 in the Town of Franklin. Gardepe was released on tickets and is to
appear in Town of Franklin Court on July 25th at 6:00 PM.

they are asking the Town of Sidney extend their Commercial Zoning to the facility,
if that fails they would be forced to close on July 24th. A petition for local residents to sign is

45-year-old Thomas Sutton of Sidney was arrested Tuesday in connection with the fire on July 3rd at the Econo Lodge in the Town of Dickinson. Sutton was charged with arson and reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and obstructing governmental administration & he faces court action shortly.

State Police arrested 26 year old Zachary Thomas of Deposit for Grand Larceny and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property. A trooper was contacted by the administrator of an estate of a man who recently passed away. The administrator told the trooper a $5,000 tractor was stolen from the property, Thomas allegedly took the tractor and hid it behind a barn in Bainbridge. Thomas was arrested and arraigned in the town of Coventry Court where he was released on his own recognizance. His next appearance in court is September 26th.

Attorney General Eric Schneiderman today announced that his office has obtained a judgment against home improvement contractors who ripped off customers in the Southern Tier and Central New York by going door-to-door seeking to pave and repair driveways. The contractors performed shoddy and incomplete work, intimidated customers into paying more than the negotiated price, and failed to abide by New York’s home improvement contract laws. Schneiderman entered into an agreement to settle his investigation against Joshua Cooper of Ovid and Robert Cooper of Romulus, who were doing business as Finger Lakes Asphalt. the Coopers will be required to pay $8,150 in restitution to 6 consumers

The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Joshua Thomas of New Berlin for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. The Narcotics Division conducted a traffic stop in the Village of Oxford Saturday morning, Thomas was found to be in possession of heroin, he was taken into custody and processed & is scheduled to appear in the Village of Oxford Court at a later date.
The Chenango County Sheriff's Office arrested 22-year-old Joshua Wishart and 24-year-old Allen Sorrell of Rome, Sunday. The 2 are accused of running out of the Norwich Wal-Mart after stealing merchandise. The 2 were apprehended after a brief foot chase, both were found with stolen property, Sorrell was also found with a hypodermic instrument. Wishart and Sorrell were arraigned in the Town of Norwich Court on charges of conspiracy, resisting arrest & petty larceny, Sorrell was also charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument. They were sent to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on $10,000 cash bail.

The Chenango county sheriffs department arrested 37 year old Thomas Miller & 33 year old Kristin Miller of Norwich for 1- Count each of 2nd degree Rape, 2nd degree Criminal Sexual Act & Endangering the Welfare of a child. The arrests followed an investigation involving a child less than 15 years of age; the Miller’s were arraigned and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility each on $25,000 cash bail to reappear at Norwich court at later date.
21-year-old Joshua Vaughn of Binghamton was convicted of attempted murder and assault, in connection with an incident at the Voodoo Lounge in Binghamton in January of 2012. Vaughn was accused of stabbing a bouncer in the stomach during a dispute over the cover charge; he was sentenced to 15 years in prison plus 5 years of post-release supervision.

The New York State Police Special Investigations Unit completed a five-month investigation into copper burglaries and larcenies from the Greater Binghamton Health Center Campus. Charged were Christopher Peck of New Milford, Pennsylvania, Deyquan Perry of Endicott, Nicholas Linsky of Binghamton, Joshua Cope of Binghamton, Thomas Rigo of Binghamton, Alfred Reynolds of Binghamton, Harry Reynolds Jr. of Binghamton, Jammy Copp of Binghamton, Deak Copp, of Johnson City, Richard Copp of Johnson City, Shane Lacey of Endicott, Christopher Reynolds of Johnson City, and an unidentified 16 year old male from Binghamton, all for 3rd degree Burglary. Kayla Tompkins of Johnson City was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, 13 others were arrested for trespassing. All face court action at a later date.
