Commerce Chenango will host its annual awards Gala on Thursday evening, June 12 at the Genegantslet Golf Course in Greene. The event begins with networking at 5:30 pm, with dinner and the awards presentation at 6:30 pm.

The event runs from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Saturday, no pre registration is required.

Chenango River Theatre’s 14th annual Winter Gala will be held at the Genegantslet Golf Club this Saturday from 6:00 – 9:30pm. The evening includes both a Silent and Live Auction, according to Theater Director Zach Curtis:

Curtis said that they will also be announcing the schedule of shows this year, at Saturday night’s event.

State Senator Fred Akshar will host a "Face Time With Fred" town hall meeting in Greene this evening from 6:00pm - 7:30pm at the Genegantslet Golf Club in Greene. Community members are invited to attend to discuss state and local issues.

Commerce Chenango announced that the Leadership Chenango Graduation Dinner for the Class of 2018 will be held today at the Genegantslet Golf Club in Greene from 5:30 to 8:00 PM. Rick Harrington of the Raymond Corporation will be the guest speaker. More information is available at 334-1400.

Chenango River Theatre will host its 9th Annual Big Cash Raffle from 6:00 to 9:00 pm on Saturday, at the Genegantslet Golf Club. $9,550 in cash prizes will be awarded to the 7 lucky ticket holders with winning numbers – only 250 tickets will be sold. The annual Big Wheels Golf Tournament, held at the Delhi College Golf Course, will take place on Friday, May 13, 2016, according to the Big Wheels tournament committee. The event serves as a primary fundraiser for programs and services which provide assistance to Delaware County senior citizens. The entry fee this year will be $60, which will be all inclusive, covering greens fees for 18 holes of golf, cart use, guaranteed prizes and a post tournament dinner. Applications for the tournament can be obtained by contacting the Delaware County Office for the Aging at 832-5750.

The Red Cross will conduct a session of the Citizen Preparedness Corps Training Program tomorrow in Greene. The program will provide information on how to be prepared for various disasters. In conjunction with the Red Cross the event is also being hosted by the Greene Rotary Club, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Genegantslet Golf Club in Greene.
