The case of Ganesh "Remy" Ramsaran of New Berlin will go national tonight on NBC's Dateline. Ramsaran pleaded guilty last year to a reduced charge of Manslaughter fro the 2012 killing of his wife Jennifer Ramsaran. The Chenango county sheriffs department arrested 38-year-old Ganesh Remy Ramsaran of New Berlin Friday, for the murder of his wife Jennifer last December, her body was found in a wooded area 3 months later.  Ramsaran was charged with 2nd degree murder, he was arraigned in Chenango County Court and was remanded to the Chenango County Jail on $150,000 bail.  Ramsaran faces a felony hearing Thursday in New Berlin Town Court.

Chenango county sheriff’s department arrested Ganesh Remy Ramsaran of New Berlin, in connection with the murder of his wife Jennifer, who was reported missing December 11th of last year by her husband.  Jennifer Ramsaran was found dead in February in the Town of Pharsalia in a wooded area.  WCDO will have further details as they become available.
