The 2016 American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network Day at the Capitol will take place on Tuesday, February 9 in Albany, New York. This is an important day for those living with cancer and their family members and friends to come to the Capitol to tell their personal stories to their State Legislators. State Troopers arrested 33 year old Eric Derrig of Waverly for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with heroin, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, & numerous Vehicle & Traffic charges following traffic stop on Route 17 in Owego. Derrig was found to be in possession of 643 bags of heroin, $354 in cash and a hypodermic needle. Derrig was arraigned & remanded to the Tioga County Jail without bail.
