The State Legislature approved of new redistricting maps for the state Wednesday. Lawmakers drew up new districts for Congressional seats as well as their own seats for the State Senate & Assembly, they head for Governor Hochul's desk for approval.

31 to honor Norwich Police Sergeant Timothy Annesi, who died from a chronic
illness Sunday. Calling hours were held
last night in Norwich. A funeral service
will be held this morning at 9:30 a.m. at the Broad Street United Methodist
Church.

A Broome County Grand Jury indicted 22 year old Drew Townsend of Endwell for Attempted Murder, for allegedly attempting to beat & choke a 43 year old woman to death. Townsend was indicted on charges of Assault, Strangulation, and Criminal Contempt. Townsend is being held in the Broome County Jail without bail.
