Former Sidney Track & Field Coach Doug Quinney of Guilford died this weekend, Quinney was a member of the Section 4 Hall of Fame and Sidney Alumni Sports Hall of Fame. Quinney also was a Social studies teacher at Sidney High School for over 30 years as wellas the Track & field coach at Sidney from 1971 to 2001, he remained as a volunteer coach through 2014 after retiring. Calling hours at C.H. Landers Saturday September 27th from 10 to 12:00 noon with a private family service at the family home in Guilford.
