The Hope & Healing: Perspectives on Mental Illness seminar will be held at the Roxbury Arts Center Saturday with Keynote speaker Jason Paden discussing his battle with mental illness. this event is held in conjunction with Roxbury's exhibit of paintings by Delaware County artist David Byrd, Roxbury Arts Group Director Jenny Rosensweig explains:

The Roxbury arts group will have an exhibit by late area artist David Byrd January 17th through February 21st, much of that work was inspired by Byrd’s work as an orderly in a psychiatric ward with patients suffering from a variety of mental illnesses. A forum will be held at the Roxbury arts group location on January 31st regarding mental illness, according to arts group executive director Jenny Rosensweig:

A woman from Virginia has filed a lawsuit over the helicopter crash that killed her three-year-old son and four other people in Pennsylvania in July. Crystal McKain is suing Hampton Road Charter Service in a wrongful death lawsuit. She said they negligently and recklessly allowed David Jenny to fly, even though he was not fully trained. According to federal investigators, Jenny was not certified to fly instrument only flights. They also said he did not receive a weather briefing before taking off from Endicott. Carl Robert, the boy's father, was also killed in the crash. McKain is suing for more than $550,000 in damages.

The names of the five victims have been released from Saturday’s fatal helicopter crash in Noxen Township Pennsylvania. The National Transportation and Safety Board is investigating the cause of the crash of the helicopter that took off Saturday from Tri-Cities Airport in Endicott, investigators said that the air traffic control lost communication with the flight at about 10:30 Saturday night. Killed in the crash were 58-year-old Bernard Kelly of Ellicott City, Maryland, 27-year-old Leanna Kelly of Savage, Maryland, 30-year-old David Jenny of Towson, Maryland, 29-year-old Carl Woodland of Lovettsville, Virginia and 3 year old Noah Woodland of Leesburg, Virginia.
