State Police & The State Office of Cannabis Management has continued to execute search warrants on businesses suspected of illegally selling Marijuana without possessing a license to do so. Sidney Exotics at 30 Main Street in Sidney was closed down Monday, more details are expected to be released shortly.

Chenango County Sheriff's Office arrested 30 year old Christopher Fuller of Oxford on July 3rd, after a Deputy in Norwich observed Fuller driving a pick-up truck & knew he did not have a valid license. The Deputy observed Fuller driving in a reckless manner and attempted to conduct a traffic stop, Fuller failed to comply & the pursuit continued until Fuller's truck became disabled, he attempted to flee on foot, and he was taken into custody. Fuller was charged with Criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, Reckless Endangerment, Unlawfully fleeing a Police officer & numerous other related charges, he was remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on cash bail.

The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the Town of North Norwich Monday that resulted in the arrest of four individuals for drug charges. Members of the Chenango County Sheriff's Office executed a no-knock search warrant at 113 Memory Lane in the Town of North Norwich, Deputies and Detectives entered the residence and located Matthew Mason, Christopher Fuller, Samantha Savianeso, and Thomas Knickerbocker, they located Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, Heroin, packaging materials, scales, hundreds of dollars in cash, and other materials indicative of the sale and distribution of drugs. Mason, Fuller, Savianeso, and Knickerbocker were transported to the Chenango County Sheriff's Office, Mason was processed and arraigned in Centralized Arraignment where he was held at the Chenango County Correctional Facility with no bail until he can be seen in Chenango County Court, the rest were released in their own recognizance.

Delaware County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched February 15th to a Harassment Complaint in the Town of Meredith. 48-year old Zacharias Fuller of Richfield Springs had electronically communicated with the victim and made threats to harm the victim. Deputies submitted a request for a criminal summons and an order of protection to Town of Meredith Court, which was issued. Deputies learned that Fuller was being held on unrelated charges at the Otsego County Correctional Facility, he was charged with Aggravated Harassment & he remained incarcerated in Otsego County, and will appear in the Town of Meredith Court at a later date.

State Police arrested 32 year old Richard Hildebrandt of Mastic Beach for Driving While Impaired by Drugs. Troopers were dispatched to the parking lot of Mountain Side Residential Care, they located Hildebrandt, he failed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, further investigation revealed that numerous unlocked vehicles were rummaged through in the Margaretville area prior to Hildebrandt’s arrest. Many of the stolen items were located in Hildebrandt’s vehicle. Hildebrant was additionally charged with Grand Larceny and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property & Petit Larceny, & Criminal Mischief in the fourth degree. He is scheduled to appear in the Middletown Town Court on April 14th.

State Police arrested 21 year old Christopher DeGrazio of Pelham, NY for DWI with a BAC of .15%. Troopers were dispatched to a vehicle that was disabled in town of Colchester, they found DeGrazio sleeping in the driver’s seat, blocking the road to Russell Brook Campground. DeGrazio was arrested and released on appearance tickets returnable to the town of Colchester Court. He was then turned over to a sober third party.

Binghamton Police revealed the identities of the 2 people killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday night in Binghamton. Binghamton Police Officer Katie Brown and former Binghamton Police Officer Christopher Stoeckel, both of Binghamton, were killed in the crash that was reported around 10:15 PM at State Route 434 & Pennsylvania Avenue on the city's Southside. Stoeckel was dead at the scene, Brown was taken to Wilson Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Police believe Stoeckel lost control of the motorcycle, struck a guide rail and both were ejected, Speed was also a factor, and toxicology results are pending. Brown’s funeral services are being arranged by her family and will be held in her home state of Indiana. Stoeckel was a Binghamton police officer from 2008 to 2012, he resigned after a DWI arrest.
Delaware County Deputies arrested 44 year old Ralph Fuller of Walton on a warrant issued in the Franklin Town Court for Aggravated Sexual Abuse. Sidney Village Police also arrested Fuller, for predatory sexual assault, 1st degree burglary, & criminal possession of a weapon, for allegedly breaking into a Sidney resident’s home, using a taser and raping the victim, he is being held in the Delaware County Jail without bail pending future court action.

Governor Cuomo announced that a $30.32 million loan package for the Johnson City & Binghamton Sewage Treatment plant, for repairs, improvements and protection against future storms, including a floodwall around the plant. The Plant was damaged in 2011 by Tropical Storm Lee, resulting in a substantial loss of waste treatment. & The discharge of untreated waste into the Fuller Hollow Creek and the Susquehanna River after a wall collapsed at the plant. The plant serves 120,000 customers.
