The Otsego County Sheriff's Office reported that 24 year old Ryan Sutcliffe of Cumberland, Rhode Island was sleeping in his tent when a large tree limb, broke off & landed on him, at about 12:45 AM Saturday at the Grand Slam Camp Ground on County Highway 18 in the town of Morris. Sutcliffe was taken to Chenango County Memorial Hospital in Norwich where he was declared deceased. The investigation is continuing.

Governor Cuomo announced a new program under Charge NY to accelerate the market adoption of electric vehicles and to make EV infrastructure easier to use and more economically viable in New York.  The Electric Vehicle-Enabling Technology Demonstration Program offers $2 million to fund research and demonstration projects for electric vehicles.
