Delaware County Sheriff Craig DuMond announced that in observance of New York State Sheriff's Week, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office will be hosting an Open House event on Sunday, September 21st, 2025, from 12pm-3pm at their office located at 280 Phoebe Lane, Delhi. Live demonstrations will be conducted by the K-9 Teams, Drone Pilots, Project Lifesaver Team, and our Motor Vehicle Accident Reconstructionist, plus Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians from Delaware County Public Health will conduct a Car Seat Safety event.

The 10th Annual Autumn Market by 607 Events Connection (https://www.facebook.com/groups/6zero7eventshare/) will be held at General Clinton Park Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Over 70 vendors are participating including farmers, crafters, Artist, there will also be children's activities

Mohawk Valley Gives, an annual one-day on-line fundraiser, returns today, it is hosted locally by the Community Foundation of Otsego County, where more than 80 participating Otsego County nonprofits will have the opportunity to raise funds with a secure online platform. Katz said that Members of the community can visit givemv.org to browse all the nonprofits and give online to their favorite organizations.

The Peila View Farms at 144 Kilroy Road in Oxford will hold their annual Autumn Family Fun will be held on Saturday & Sunday in conjunction with the Chenango County Health Department, from 11AM TO 5PM, Erica Curtis from the Chenango County Public Health told WCDO how the voucher system works for special needs children:

Hartwick College will have their annual True Blue Weekend, the College’s annual alumni and community celebration, taking place on campus today & Saturday, the weekend features a full schedule of events for students, alumni, families and friends. The complete schedule is available at hartwick.edu.
