Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival will be accepting submissions for its Annual Student Art Exhibit through 6:30 tomorrow evening at the Artists’ Palette at 17-19 South Broad Street in Norwich. All area students are encouraged to submit work for the show, which will be on display at the Artists’ Palette from this Saturday, until Sunday, September 10. The Sidney Chamber of Commerce will hold its next "Business After Hours" & Ribbon Cutting event today. The event will be held at the newly expanded Harrington Photography, Art & Framing on Cartwright Avenue in Sidney, Owner Dan Harrington commented:

Harrington said that the newly opened Gallery currently features the Leatherstocking Brush & Palette Club from Cooperstown; they will feature different exhibits on a monthly basis, from a variety of different local artists.

Downtown Norwich will be feature art, food and music today at 4:00 PM for the monthly Fourth Friday art walk and shows.  A complete list of participating artist's and merchants is available at the Artists' Palette; more information is available at 244-1445.

The CHENANGO COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE ARTS is currently looking for area artists who would like to submit their work to Fourth Friday's in downtown Norwich.  Every Fourth Friday of the month local downtown merchants place artwork in their storefront windows as part if the monthly event. The event includes an art walk starting at 5 PM followed by a gallery opening with live music and food at The Artists' Palette in Norwich.  More information is available at 244-1445.
