33 Year Old Kevin Wilcox of Harpursville has been indicted
on 15 counts in connection with an incident in Binghamton March 11th, where he
lost control of his vehicle & struck 16 year old Harper Stantz & 19
year old Britney Laserinko, while allegedly impaired by drugs. Stantz died from
the injuries sustained from the incident, Laserinko suffered multiple
fractures, and Wilcox will be arraigned on the indictment in Broome county
Court at a later date.
The Broome County Sheriff's Department responded Wednesday
afternoon to Otsiningo Park in the Town of Dickinson, for the report of an
armed robbery. 18 year old Zackary
Pound of Port Dickinson claimed he was held at gunpoint by unknown males and
forced into a vehicle, it was determined
that a robbery did not take place and the incident was actually an unsuccessful
marijuana drug deal. Pound was charged
with making a false written statement and processed at the Sheriff’s Office and
released. He is to appear in the Town of Dickinson Court on a later date to
answer the charge. The investigation is ongoing.
The 17th Annual Delaware County Relay For Life will be held
tomorrow at the County Fair Grounds in Walton starting at 11:00 AM. American Cancer Society Spokesperson Heather

Earth Day Southern Tier and Binghamton Regional Sustainability
Coalition will hold its 30th annual Earth Fest on Sunday at the SUNY Broome
Student Center Gym from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The festival will feature 35 Earth-friendly exhibitors and vendors; more

The Opening day of the “Regatta Row 2019 – Street Art Fest”

The Annual Unadilla Chamber of Commerce Dinner will be held
on Sunday at the Unadilla Methodist Church.
This year, the Chamber will be honoring The Meeting Place & Owner
Dwight Mott as Business of the Year and George DeNys (Denies) as the Commitment
to Community recipient.
The Annual Oxford Arbor Day celebration will be held
tomorrow, they will be awarded as a "Tree City USA" for the 33rd time

McClancy Family that lost their possessions in a fire on East Main Street in
Sidney Earlier this year. The Fundraiser

the State of New York announced that many fire departments around the State are
participating in the annual "Recruit New York" event this
weekend. The number of people
volunteering for their local fire departments & emergency squads has been
decreasing in recent, & people are encouraged to attend a Recruit NY event this
weekend at their nearest Fire Department.

The 7th annual Cider Run will be held on Saturday at the Fly
Creek Cider Mill. This year's event
features a 10K run, 5K run, 5K walk, and kids' fun run, with proceeds to
